I've never taken notice of this before, but I always assumed the ticker on the screen on the right was for game-related announcements. For the past couple of days, it's been displaying challenge unlocks from a player that is not me. Is this normal? Screenshot below.

Mine tells me about Origin friend's unlocks. It is strange if you dont know who that person is, but otherwise this is normal (but also new since the last big update)

I didn't realize it was a new feature. That makes sense. I think I may have played with this person in a PUG before and since I don't check my Origin client often, I didn't see that he sent me a friend request. At any rate, thanks for the response.
