hi all, i have the dvd version of the game. it installed fine, ran throught the prelauch configeration test which was fine then when you click play, nothing happens( other than a satisfying click). the music keeps playing until it stops but the game does not launch. i have left it for half an hours and still nothing after clicking.

any ideas?

Win xp sp3
nvidea 8800gts latest drivers (plus physx)
dual core 3ghz
3gb ram

i have tried running it with and without the internet on (firewall exception and with it switched off)

Just asking the obvious question here...but do you have the dvd in the drive when you click play? Or did you leave it out?

Yes dvd was in the drive, i'm going to uninstall, reinstall and this time not patch to the latest version before playing and see if there was a glitch here
