Good news for the teams hard at work on LucasArts’ first round of in-house developed games since 2010’s Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. The studio made headlines at E3 2012 when it debuted Star Wars 1313,
a new third-person shooter planned for still unannounced next
generation consoles like the Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4. LucasArts is
also rumored to be finishing up an Xbox Live Arcade shooter known as Star Wars: First Assault.
Those games may be the last console Star Wars games for some
time after they’re finished. Disney CEO Bob Iger’s statements following
the announcement of the Lucasfilm acquisition indicate that Star Wars’ future in video games will lean more towards the realm of Angry Birds Star Wars rather than The Force Unleashed.
When asked how Disney would integrate Lucasfilm’s properties into its interactive business, Iger responded that the companies are “likely to focus more on social and mobile than we are on console.”
**** you disney. Crash and burn!!

Every director has ups and downs with films. Thus you cannot implicate the assumption that just because one film they made didn't exceed your expectations that the rest of them are gonna fail.
I personally feel that if Peter Jackson or Ridley Scott directed SW that it would be pretty interesting and damn good to see. I love them both, but we all have different preferences thus I respect your opinion.
(Also there was nothing wrong with Prometheus. It's one of those science fiction films that makes us think and for people that don't like to think, it is annoying.)
That I thought about what was happening is the reason I think it´s a pathetic movie, although I have enough of a sense of humor to laugh at all the nonsense. And really, Scott made BR and Alien, but that was decades ago, and has more bad movies than good in his filmography.

Ha, there are plenty of things wrong with Prometheus. 2001: A Space Odyssey makes you think but it's also an amazing film.

Now I expect to see a Leia spinoff where she is saved by some Han Soloesque figure.

Given that Lucas had recently done a 180 and started editing prior films, something he once said he'd never do or condone, I'm kinda glad someone else is taking up the reigns. .
Yeah its not as though Lucas has done anything of note for decades now. As for it being Disney..... meh Im doubt it makes a big difference which of the big media companies got it.

From the article:
One person who might have a clue is Dale ******, author of the unauthorized biography Skywalking: The Life And Films Of George Lucas. In a chat with TheWrap,
****** revealed that he was able to read the outlines to Episodes VII,
VIII and IX, but had to sign a confidentiality agreement preventing him
from revealing the specifics of their contents.
"It was originally a 12-part saga," recalled ******. "The three most
exciting stories were 7, 8 and 9. They had propulsive action, really
interesting new worlds, new characters. I remember thinking, 'I want to
see these 3 movies.'" He added that an older version of Luke Skywalker
appears in the final trilogy. We'll see if any of these elements remain
in the final version of the third trilogy.
So the outline for the new trilogy has already been written.

You can't compare the two. Prometheus makes you really think and you have to be a good Alien fan to help you understand it better. You can say that a film is a bad film just because you can't understand it.
But I respect your opinion.

Funny how people complained about the movie having plot holes and such, but when they watched it again they said that they started to uncover them. Watching it a second and third time help them understand it better. Of course you would think it's a "pathetic" movie because you never really understood it from the start. Don't be so narrow minded and assume that your opinion is a fact. Not that I'm saying that your saying that your opinions are facts, but by the way you word things it sure as hell seems that way.

Eh.. Look what they did with Marvel, I'll give em a shot.
My thoughts exactly.
It would be great to see a bunch of unrealted films and tv show set in the Star Wars univese. With as little relation to Ep 1-6 as posable, I say Disney goes Old Republic or In to the far future, Thats the great thing about the Star Wars universe it never changes setting wise.

Anyway, I don't care much, Marvel hasn't been ruined, they're still Crapping out Horrible Marvel Zombies Books,
So it's too early to tell now if this will be good or bad, all we can do is wait.
Can I get a Petition started to get a Star Wars Level in Kingdom Hearts 3?
and a Marvel Level?
Seriously Disney owning those franchises opens a new window of opportunity.

I'm not so sure on that. Like I've said for years over at Mandalorian Mercs.
"That story has changed so much and with whats "wrote in the book" that if we were to break into Lucas Ranch and find that book all that would be inside is a drawing of Lucas swiming in a tub of money"
