This thread has been appearing in one form of another for months. People are sick of it. If you used the search function instead of just posting you could have read page after page of arguaments for and against Protheans and saved yourself all the hostility that your getting.

No it wouldn't. MP has nothing to do with SP as shown in multiple different ways. We already use their weapon, just go and include them as playable races already. They look and sound cool and play extremely well. No reason not to at this point.

You sir understand my point.  its just for fun the MP has nothing to do with the SP there is no story line that will effect the single player story line.

If a Prothean were brought in that had unique gameplay elements befitting them then I'd say: yes, as long as there was a good SP reason for them to appear, and even then...

What're you talking about? How many copy and paste movesets and skins have been brought over from SP and people love them? Why is the problem exclusive to the Prothean addition? This is an absurd reason to disclude them from an aspect of ME3 that has little to nothing to do with the SP campaign.

So you guys are all complaining about imbalance and how weapons/classes should be buffed or nerfed, but now suddenly lore is important?

Seriously, how do you want to justify a weapon suddenly changing weight or damage output into this seemingly almighty 'lore'?

That doesn't even make sense.
 It wouldn't really change anything, Javik's abilites (other than slam) are in the game, protheans wouldn't change anything.

Also, you asking 'quite a few people' doesn't make your idea anymore valid, or orginal for that matter.

I guarantee the moment Protheans are added, every person saying they didn't want one will use nothing but. We have space ninjas, ridiculously silly Volus additions etc.

The same people whining about the Protheans, are the exact some people who whined not to include the Collectors in MP. Check the threads, you see the same nonsense there as well and the game is much better with the Collectors in it and it would be the same for Protheans.

What if during the Prothean Reaper war a Prothean cruiser vanished. A mystery unexplainable. Then through the mysteries of Mass Effect fields, emerges 50000 years later ready to kick Reaper butt!

Sure they dont engage in Physical combat.  But they are traders and mercenarys they need a defence somehow..

Would not put it past them Protheans did have tech far superior to humans and any other race in Universe so who knows.

They pay other races to protect them, they don't defend themselves. Yet, here they are in game and although I think it's stupid, I don't want them out of it. The reasonings for no Prothean in MP are flimsy at best. Include them and be done with it like you did the Collectors BW.

This  I would continue playing if they were added... I'm mostly bored of it just because it is all always the same. They could make powers just for Protheans... might be fun if they do it right

Let´s just hope it is somehow explained without ruining Javik´s role in SP.
