In short: People only seem to want them for the novelty, and not what they can bring to the table. Slap Javik's moveset on a character (which we sort of did.) and its the same thing.

If a Prothean were brought in that had unique gameplay elements befitting them then I'd say: yes, as long as there was a good SP reason for them to appear, and even then...

What're you talking about? How many copy and paste movesets and skins have been brought over from SP and people love them? Why is the problem exclusive to the Prothean addition? This is an absurd reason to disclude them from an aspect of ME3 that has little to nothing to do with the SP campaign.

In one way or another the SP does in fact correlate with the MP basis. Volus did not break lore due to them having enough money to buy the best suits in the galaxy. They are also capable of implanting bio-amps into their suits to make them worthy or biotic powers.

Protheans would regard Javik as a useless SP character. To those who bought *From Ashes* Dlc, bringing in Protheans as a playable MP character would make Javik seem like a complete waste of money. He clearly pointed out he was the last Prothean. It would be unnecessary to bring in hundreds of Prothean regardless of Javik saying "i'm the last Prothean"

That has to be the dumbest reasoning for not including them I've ever read. Are all the weapons I got in my preorder bonuses somehow lessened because there are brought into MP? I got From Ashes early and could care less if it was added to the MP. One has nothing to do with the other.

The weapons are practically irrelevant in the MP. They are weapons, not a person who made a statement pointing out "i'm the last Prothean." Your opinion (such as mine) isn't based entirely around everyone.

There can be many that bough From Ashes finally understanding Javik really is the last Prothean alive. There's threads like this already and there simply was no point in making another.

Collectors I felt were fine. Their were many defining reasons as to how they could survive. Bringing in Protheans? I just don't see the point really.

Yet they should be smart enough to seperate the two. Lore has no place in MP and it has been proven time and again. Javik BELIEVES he is the last Prothean, but that doesn't mean more couldn't pop up with a perfectly understandable reasoning from BW. Bottom line, if BW brings them in you will accept it and play them.

What happened to the ME2 feeling i would to be able to meet a prothean or see or play as one now all of a sudden NO THERE DEAD THEY CANT THERE ALL DEAD IT IMPOSSIBLE !! geesh guise loosen up the Multiplayer is for fun its not like im asking to add other protheans into the actual story :/

Cloned to Javik, as they did with Grunt. Or find more capsules Prothean. So we would have more Prothean.

 Oh how I giggle whenever I read the "it'll ruin Javik" argument. So by that logic, Ashley/Kaiden becoming a Spectre ruins Shepard then? It's sci-fi; supposedly dead characters & races come back all the time. Nevermind the fact that it's just a game and not some sacred text. Let people have their Protheans and move on to your next complaint about the really fun time BW has tried to show you.

It's never been proven. Also, there is a HUGE difference between a physically-inept person and a dead person.

Your logic seems to have become that this is not Mass Effect, which makes absolutely no sense.

How long were there humans on Eden Prime before Cerberus dug up Javik? It wouldn't be so hard to believe other 'pods' could be spread thoughout the galaxy containing still living Protheans of various classes. Soldiers, Engineers, Adepts. A campaign DLC could easily cover an issue like this. THE PROTHEAN EMPIRE WILL RISE AGAIN!!

Mass effect multiplayer was built away from the Lore to enduce fun away from the lore and the single player was built for the lore. so the concept of the multiplayer lore is daft.

I'm not sure if I care either way about protheans in mp, but the whole from ashes dlc argument is stupid. Oh and the only batarians we should have are whiney refugees and maybe a crappy terrorist who has a similar success rate to Wile E Coyote

*Claps* well put sir, i dont mind the idea of a geth soldier or batarian vanguard but to me its all copy and paste with the same abilitys in a diffrent concept but if they added ONE prothean they could make him diffrent from javik and as you seen in the single player most protheans looked the same as each other anyway.

I understand but the protheans are apart of the game Ak-47 and our tech is not so that statement i know is sarcastic but protheans are apart of the game so they should have a place in Multiplayer for peole WHO WANT THEM ? I dont want a Batarian vanguard but i would happly say yes because other people would like to play as one.
