Hahaha, I love your weekly updates & new schedule you guys never go by. Anything to get the game in people's trays & milk those microtransactions as long as you can, huh? Hahaha!!!

YOU KNOW, you can release the new character w/o the balance changes.....

Best balance changes would be to keep the game as it's and fix the damn server, hence avoiding CTD. Instead just release the new damn character.

They explained this last week. They would have to do two... idk, really long update thingamagigs. It would be a lot of work and it's way easier to just do it once.

Without getting too ranty (because this really bothers me), I want to
know why Bioware and other game companies think this is an okay thing.
This is their JOB, to fix issues with their game. You have people
dedicated to fixing all sorts of issues, why can't they complete it
within a given deadline? If I am given a task at work to do with a time
limit, and I consistently do not complete it within that limit, I will
most likely get fired and will be replaced by a more efficient worker.
Game design is no different, so why are people openly okay with this? If
you don't think you are able to get the fixes out in time, then you
work overtime and work your ass off until they are finished, not say "Oh
look, it's 5 o' clock, time to go home, guess we'll pick this up
tomorrow."

I can't help but agree. Bioware, you need to get your act together. AC3 JUST came out, Halo 4 comes out next week, and then even MORE massive games after THAT. This is NOT helping you keep players.

It was already a poor enough choice to drag out the character releases for 3 whole months...

Why don't you just make it wednesday from now on? Save everyone the bother of looking forward to something new, then checking, only to find out it's been delayed ¬¬

This.  Find a day, do all the work the previous day, then copypasta on patch day.

Glad about the weapon buffs, I at least can wait for a new character since I haven't unlocked any of the new ones yet... Hopefully they'll give the Geth Super Soaker a MAJOR buff, because that thing is literally a level X piece-of-**** sitting in my armory.

If I were you, Eric, I would have said something along the lines of, "In respect of those suffering from Hurricane Sandy, balance changes will be delayed until tomorrow. Take this time to think about those lost to the storm and those that still need to be found." Not really an excuse, but it would soften the "blow."

Looking forward to the changes.

Umm... if you didn't notice... people just died last night. Quite a few. Breezy Point, Queens burned to the ground. I think you can wait a kcufing day for your precious new character.

Good changes, but for two weeks worth delays, I think we all deserve a Valkyrie assault rifle/upgrade ;)

What about the countless spawns of Dragoons? Any chance they'll get looked at sometime soon?

@Cram: People are okay w/ game comps doing it, because most consumers are kids who don't care and/or can't affect anything with the wallet they don't have.

@Sgt.: I believe the whole reason for them dragging out character releases is to keep people playing with all the big games out or about to come out.

I'm not saying either is right, I agree they're not & that this is lazy bull**** on BW's part, I'm just saying that's how it is. As long as fools keep the microtransactions flowing, BW couldn't care less, nor could their overlords at EA...

Not surprised considering last week's was delayed. Oh, well, AC III will keep me occupied until these come out. *crosses fingers on what character is gonna be released tomorrow*

So much whining in this thread over a damn delay... ugh.

Looking forward to those buffs, those weapons certainly could use them.

The amount of "#firstworldproblems" in this thread is certainly disgusting.
