Cant update my profile

Bit of a strange one. If i make changes to my profile (ie, update the bio etc) and click save changes it will say that it has updated but as soon as i navigate away from that page it clears all the fields and my profile clearly hasnt updated.
Anyone else have this problem?

Please post your browser vendor/version, and our devs will look into it.
Additionally, be aware that it does *not* save changes when you switch tabs in the profile editor.

We have been unable to reproduce this. Please provide your operating system vendor/version, and any browser plugins or addons you have installed.

We have identified and fixed the root cause as of about 5pm today - all 2300 users affected (ouch) have had their accounts fixed automatically. Please test to see if you can now edit your profiles! You should also now see friends' activity on the site homepage when logged in.
