Know what I do sometimes when everyone on the team refuses to use medi-gel and leave me being the lone ranger?

I kill all the enemies accept 1 (Weakest one). Then, I hide in a safe spot.... Take a leak, make some coffee, go back and have my character shoot his weapon so he wont lag out, eat some donuts, pour the coffee, get the sugar, eat another donut, go back, light up a cig, drink the coffee and then I kill the enemy.

If they haven't left the game by then, good for them. Patience is a virtue and 7 times out of 10 that will solve the gel issue. If they left, then so be it. It was worth it.

I saw a thread recently where a lot of people wanted to kick players for doing exactly what you're describing...

Typical PC players... come over to the console master race, bro!

that master race is full of whiny kids, hackers, and people who have payed 5$ every month since that "Console" came out.

I use the word console lightly because we all know its a watered down PC with  "Technical Issues" out the ass.

I know the feeling!  I was trying a new build and tested it in Silver.  In round 3 I went down so I thought "no need to medigel, these guys can handle it".
I had to watch how those three guys went down one after the other!  No help with revives and no team work, they got slaughtered! :pinched:

I usually postpone gelling until the last moment (I bleed out or am about to be executed) because I hope that someone is nearby and expect them to get me up, since I always do the same for them. But that is also probably due to professional deformation since I'm a medic IRL so I always leg it across the map weaving and dodging enemies and forgoing points just to get someone up :P

I won't medi-gel if there is no respawning to be done by enemies. Three people should be able to handle three Pyros and an ATLAS. Though what you described is a different cicrumstance. In this case all three should've instantly gelled to give the best chance at survival. Enemies camp your corpse so odds are on or two would've been staggered to death. Nevarez we need start doing that together lol. Would be a nice bonding experience.

Airealite. The problem for guys like myself and Slim is that we play aggressively, far too aggressively. Enemy spawns are nuked and killed quickly. If the rest of the team is camping te enemy will more often then not psawn behind them. The then believe we aren't team players and I've been teabagged on more than one occasion for topping the scoreboard. XBL Public Games are a cesspit of terrible players who don't know the difference between aggressive playing and killwhoring. Sure it's not always the deal but yeah it's one of many reasons I haven't been revived while on the floor. (others includes teammates not being able to get to me [obviously] and teammates just being ignorant of the fact that a teammate is down). Rage-gelling also-at least for me-has become a muscle memory reaction after the last three months of speedrunning every single map with Team Narnia.

I save my gels for objective waves unless I'm the only one left.
