Had my first Collector Gold Game tonight with less than 4 players...

...and I immediately thought to myself:  "In a game that is already geared to weapon damage over powers, where heavy characters have much better survivability than the nimble caster classes and yet eclipse their damage dealing, why in blazes would the developers include a spammable enemy power that renders all player powers impossible to use for several seconds?!"

OK, so I was playing Slayer (this started off as U/U/G, gave us Collectors on Hydra) but the point stands - weapons classes already have way more damage dealing potential and way better survivability, and now we have an enemy type that (above silver) seems to demand playing them.

Pretty tough to play any sort of caster (adept, vanguard, engineer) against an enemy that is constantly spamming you with an attack that leaves you with nothing but whatever crappy low-weight weapon you're stuck with (we all don't have Talon X's) and your ability to run... which is hampered by the Scions flinging grenades EVERYWHERE and the ninja Praetorian beams-from-anus.
