The little girl Avexis in Dragon Age Dawn of the Seeker was so sweet and innocent, but her magical ability to control dragons was dangerously powerful. It was terrible to see her used and abused as a pawn of the "evil blood mage". The movie gave me hope to see that the Chantry's Circle of Magi has the potential to be a refuge for keeping young mages like her safe rather than simply a prison. It is so sad that child mages have to grow up so fast or be subjected to abuse both on the outside of the Chantry by power hungry Blood Mages or abuse on the inside of the Chantry by overzealous Templars. I wrote Avexis a lullaby and posted it on Youtube: and I can't help thinking about how much Avexis's situation reminded me Wynne and her story about how she came to the Circle of Magi as a child (after setting someone on fire by accident!) and it was actually a comforting home for her.
It would be very interesting to see the Dalish solution to children born with inherent magic abilities, and the process by which they train their keepers. I wonder how the Tevinter Imperium trains their young mages? It would be cool to hear what happened to Feynriel "the Dreamer", also a young, scared mage with AWESOME POWER after he traveled to Tevinter. What are the alternatives to the Chantry's "solution"?

Gracias! Hopefully I will be able to get permission to use screenshots of Avexis from the movie with that song to make a better video. In any case, the book Asunder just about made me cry with how the Templars were treating the new "fresh young" mages. Such a contrast to Wynne's story, and I am wondering and hoping the Fereldan Circle of Magi will come into Orlais and stamp out that kind of oppression for good. I wonder if DA3 will be at the point in time closer to Dawn of the Seeker, or Asunder? I wish I had a timeline like in the history books!

First, I want to say that the lullaby you wrote was gorgeous. Incredible!
Anyway, I agree it's quite terrible to see stuff like that. Young mages just seem to be tormented inside the Circle or out. Heartbreaking, really. I'd also love to see how Feynriel is doing. His story intrigues me and I hope to see more of him and see what exactly happens in Tevinter. We'll see, I guess.

It would be nice to see Anders make something of himself, and start a "refuge" for young untrained mages. Maybe he could name it the "Circle of Justice". It would be very interesting to see him make a comeback in DA3 and swipe some of the younglings out from under the Templars (or Blood Mages) and give them some middle ground. I was most impressed how Galyan rescued the little girl Avexis from Frenic's clutches, I wish we could see more "Heroic, good-guy type" mages like Galyan. Also, I really hope we can see how Zathrian's Second ended up as a new young Keeper, probably will be a grown-up Keeper in the timeset of DA3. OH again, I find myself wishing for a timeline!

Too bad he's not "Justice" anymore, he's an abomination, Vengeance.
