Which moments in the game did you find to be funny even though there was no apparent intent of humour by the writers?

I think the part when you or Allistair kill Loghain and it shows the blood spray all across Anora's face was hillarious.  Especially since her expression remained completely placid and then she just bobbled her head over her father's corpse.

Also, hearing Arl Eamon's reaction to you choosing the Dog as your champion against Loghain was funny.  He didn't want a dog to determine the fate of Ferelden?  How dare he!

Also, I think it was funny how everyone in Ferelden seems to have a little knife handy to kill people.  Even Isolde just happened to have one handy to kill her son, good stuff!

I actually change my mind.  I think the funniest moment is probably when you tell Morrigan "This is how you repay me after all I've done for you?  You selfish ****!"  After you refuse to bang her the night before the final battle.

Not sure that is exactly what he said, but it was something similar.

Lelianna singing was pretty funny. The voice sounded nothing like Lelianna's and the way her lips move didn't make it look at all like she was singing. Neither did her body language.



I also thought the sword used to behead Loghain was pretty funny. I would've expected Anora to get slabs of her father's brain on her face and dress as well as blood.

Sleeping with Cammen's love and getting +7 approval from Wynne, then telling him as he runs away crying. Took five minutes for me to stop laughing, constantly stuttering "omg, Wynne approved!?"

LMAO. Really? I'll have to try it. I slept with Cammen once and she disapproved of that! Sexism in games, oh my.

Personally, I loved the moment where my elven female mage offered to take Cullen off somewhere private, and the smitten schmuck not only turned her down, he ran away down the hall like a frightened bunny rabbit with the hounds of hell on his tail. :innocent:

When the Grand Oak offered to help me and I butchered him. Somehow, swinging giant swords and throwing fireballs at and old tree is hilarious.

I also think that part when you kill that merchant in Lothering was pretty damn funny.

I think the shot-reverse-shot effect of some of the cutscenes is pretty hilarious. I'm thinking about those moments during a cutscene after an NPC says something and the camera reverses angles so that you see what the NPC sees--your party of four heavily armed, scantily clad, blood-splattered lunatics. The funny part is the party is just staring dumbfounded at the NPC, at a total loss for words.



The only specific instance I can remember right now is at the end of the conversation with the mage who hid in a closet.

Another really funny moment for me was killing brother Genitivi. The way he still managed to remain conscious for 10 seconds despite having a dagger in his brain was pretty funny.

I always found Alistair's expression during the entire Joining cutscene to be hilarious. He just has this constant raised eyebrow.

The bandit leader in Lothering is pretty funny to me too. "Yes, I am a criminal. I apologize." Just the tone he says it in.

Sten and Morrigan's final party banter conversation - though when I heard it my character had romanced her and we were in the middle of the deep roads so it was hardly the place or the time.

As was said before, Leliana singing. This was I believe the only time I literally lol'd

When the guardian at Andraste's temple questions Leliana. It was an "oh snap" moment for me.

I also forgot one, when it's at the Joining and the one recruit get's stabbed by Duncan. I couldn't help but laugh at his stupidity.

I think the moment I laughed the most in this game is when I went to talk to Zevran and I saw "Let's go to bed" option. I did not expect that, I was in romance with Leliana and even Morrigan. So  I tried that line of talking, ending up in bed with Zevran. I was laughing during the entire cutscene of my character in a man to man sex scene :happy:

I don't think it's meant to be funny but when you're doing the solving problems quest in Denerim I found it funny how everyone in your party would just look when you're dumping the bodies in the well.

In Denerim, where you do a job for "interested parties". One of those is collecting body bags from failed jobs and taking them to the Chantry well to dump. During the cutscene, when you are dumping the bags in the well, your party members are standing behind you, and watch you dump the bags, their heads moving like they are watching a tennis match. Completely nonchalant, expressionless. I think it's the fact that I have Alistair and leliana and Zevran in my party that makes it so damned funny. Especially Alistair and leliana, who you would certainly expect to object to such a thing. yet after watching the body bag dumping tennis match, they turn toward you with serene, blank expressions, and Zevran almost looks reverent.

I always laugh every time I see this.

The fight against Bann Teagan when he's mind contolled by Connor. The battle ended with me fireballing the room, leading to the cutscene with Teagan telling Isolde he is fine now - even though he is still on fire in the cutscene.

And like everyone said, the whole Leliana singning scene - she looks constipated and angry during certain parts.

LMAO! Oh, crap! I've never picked up any of the fire spells. I think I'll have to briefly add it via console and do the same thing just to see that. Just picturing it makes my eyes water.

After you've bandaged that soldier in the Korcari Wilds, you're all talking and you hear "THUD!" just off camera. oops.. Perhaps he was a little more hurt than we thought.



And when Fergus tells Oren "Don't worry, you'll get to see a sword up close real soon, I promise." Sick, but funny all the same.

One part where I actually laughed and not just snickered or chuckled, was when my character kissed Bella in Redcliffe, and the three militia guys stop what they're doing and are just staring in complete and utter disbelief...for some reason I just started busting out laughing.

I think finding sandal surrounded by dead darkspawm was easily the funniest moment in the game.

After losing the debate with Loghain at the landsmeet then fighting Loghain and his men I had Lelianna summon her spider during the fight. Something bugged and for the rest of the cutscenes and duels there was the giant spider just sitting in the middle of the room.



Also, everything Oghren says to the other party members or when he is drunk in camp. I love that little drunkin Dwarf.

It was funny because on my T.V. the "Life-alert" commercial was playing.

also when I fought TEEEEEGGGAAANNN!!!

I used animate dead on his corpse. When he got back up and had the "Connor" conversation with me and Isolde . . . there was an undead Teagan right behind them . . . staring at them.
