Is it common to max out all ultra-rares under 300 play hours?

120 UR to unlock
Let's say the drop rate for UR is 25% in a PSP(it isnt)
This means you would need 480 PSPs
That is 47.52million credits
Lets say we consider gold 82k per match
That is 579.5 gold matches
15min per gold
144hr

So take what part of math you like and figure out what is resonable to you.

That's pretty generous.

That's what I was thinking
So is the 25% drop rate. Feels more like 10% to me.

Or disposable income for buying biowaer points. I think I'll save my pennies for food.

Food > biowaer points.

Just as an FYI, some people use real money to get packs and could (with enough cash) get all URs unlocked with 0 hours played. So really what you are doing is useless.

I'm responsible for banning 10+ people

Not that useless, I think

Get a life. At the very least, please do something a bit more productive with it.

Good for you, still something like this is based off pure speculation and takes resources away from reports filed including hard evidence of some sort. I'll stick to reporting missile glitchers and people I actually see cheating/ glitching/ hacking. It saves time for all involved and leads to less instances of people getting wrongfully banned.

That depend on a lot of factors. How much you loose? How much you spend in jambo consumable packs? how much time you take to do a match? do you spend real money with packs?

It's a good initiative, but if this list start to become too long, you should start to rethink your logic, you could be wrong...

Common? I wouldn't think so. Especially since the number of black weapons has been expanded so dramatically just between Earth and now (I'm including PPR in that).

If you shave off 75 of my play-hours to compensate for disconnects--which, if you've ever played with me, isn't an unreasonable guess--I have 300 play hours, and not even half of my UR levels filled, from what I recall.

I suppose 300 hours of speedrunning Platinum with sub-15 minute times with Team AreleX might get you there, but that's obviously not "common."

Of course, a lot of people buy packs once in a while, so there's no way of knowing.

Well, I'm at more hours than I care to admit (not 300 but it's a lot) and I still haven't maxed a single UR. That said, I'm incredibly unlucky and started playing before these PSPs that make the process so much easier.

Personally, I think your going way out of your way on this one. If your playing a game and someone is exploiting a glitch and it's impacting your enjoyment of the game, go a head and report them. But going out of your way to discover that some's manifest looks a little too good for their play time and then reporting them for that. I'm sorry but that just seems kind of petty to me.

I feel like I have to tell you the details.

My country's N7 leaderboard top guy was a cheater.

He has billions of credits and maxed out all ultra-rares in few hours.

Not to mention his N7 score sky rocketed in a few days.

When particle rifle introduced to multiplayer, he changed it I to X in few minutes and boasted to his friends.

It quited discouraged other players.

Moreover, it seems like that he tought cheating skills to some of his friends.

So... I and my friends deleted him from friend list and decided to do some action.

Currently, I'm working this(making list of cheaters) with my friends, who think credit exploiters should be banned.

My friends gather information, and my role is to translate the language and mail it to bioware.

120 UR to unlock
A more realistic drop rate would be 10% 1/10 psps
That is 118,800,000 million credits
I will average it to 100k earned combining a player who might do gold / platinum.
1188 games of gold / platinum
Average time 20mins
That is 396 hours which is not taking into consideration silver / bronze so maybe 430-500 hours give or take.
This is also buying pure PSPs.

Well I was basically doing the math such that it is easy to alter the numbers. If you think the drop rate is half that, then it would be 288hr, if you think average gold match is 20min multiply the hours by 1.33. If you say it is platinum average then take the number and divide by ~1.5

You have got to be kidding me! You are actually going through manifests, comparing hours played to how many URs they have and reporting people based on this? What is your criteria for checking the manifest? Outscoring you, using a kit you think is overpowered, gamertag you don't like? Really, I want to know.

And you gloating that you are personally responsible for 10+ people being banned? How about you spend your time actually playing the game, or Heaven forbid, going outside for a couple hours. Maybe you could get a zero-gravity folding lounger, a book and a blanket and drive to a lake, sit along the beach and read for a few hours while sipping some fine whiskey? Of course, make sure you snoop through my manifest first. I just unlocked the Saber X out of a PSP about ten minutes ago, and since I'm a suspicious character for thinking you are a jackwad, you had better use your ridiculously flawed method to see if I've been cheating over my almost 1000 hours of gameplay!

Get a more constructive hobby dude.

1165 games played, 397 hours (vast majority of games are gold from pre platinum days, mix of gold and plat since) and I still have about half of the UR's to go. Have one X, quite a few VII-IX, a couple at I and the rest in between.

Yes I have horrible, awful luck.

I've played 500+ hours and my highest UR is a V. I have four at I. OP, please file a cheating report on the store in my stead. Thank you in advance.

If someone is using the missilie glitch, write it down and report them. Those people make game so very annoying. But what this dude is doing is just ridiculous.

you have to consider the fact that all URs can be maxed with enough real life money spent, there have been players on BSN state that they have spent $2,000+

HAHA
your doing the same thing except on a smaller level why report someone and potentially end thier multiplayer time , when you cold stop being a baby and just leave thier lobby if they are goong to glitch or play in a private game with friends.

Thanks for the hot attention but, what do you think of the guy I mentioned above?

He might teach his cheating skills to other guys and it can be spread more if I and my friend didn't stopped him.

Also, I don't spend much time doing this since my friends gather information when they see other guy's manifest and find out by chance that he is cheater.

I have some different math for you :)

120 UR to unlock
Let's say the drop rate for UR is X% in a PSP (pick whatever numbers you want 0<X<=100. In other words, there is always a chance for Ultra Rares)
This means every single PSP has a chance of containing an ultra rare
We've even seen reports of users receiving 2 ultra rares in a single pack
This means, every single PSP has a chance of containing two ultra rares
So a minimum of 60 PSPs are needed
That is 5.94 million credits
Lets say we consider gold 82k per match
That is 72.4 gold matches
20min per gold (seemed like a reasonable number to me, but very much depends on the player)
24hr (assuming that they're not playing platinum, in which case, they could go much faster)

Now, I know this is highly unlikely to happen statistically, but it's important to know that it CAN happen. It's the nature of probabilities, someone might get 2 URs in every single pack, someone else might never get an UR at all. Both are highly unlikely to happen, but still, both are possible.

:)
