You know, lot of people still demand things of the ending.

For the record, you know Knight of the Old republic II?

Yeah, I had nerdrage too, as I have had with mass effect 3.

It was published on 2005, and many fans were upset of the result. They demanded a changed ending, the fixing of many major issules like sides missions.

You know? I found this:

http://www.moddb.com...-tslrcm/reviews

The fans made a release THIS July, the 1.8, and a hotfix 1.81 after that. This mod restores the "I didn't had time for it" content, changes the ending, and adds some side missions that should have been on the original script.

The cycle cannot be broken. You can give the fans that they want, or simply try to abandon them. But if you abandon them, they will strike, again, and again, and again... and at the end, they will accomplish that they want.

Even if you don't want it. Is the difference between be their hero, or the guy who left them behind.

The cycle cannot be broken. THE CYCLE CONTINUES.

That sounds cool and I really do enjoy this post. When is someone with millions of dollars going to make an IT DLC? Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of money yet but rest assured that when I do it will be done.

I've already played the mod and is very good. But the thing is, with ME3 the game is finished (it was done everything it was suposed to be in the game).
It wasnt rushed (forced) out the door to be sold on Christmas.
It doesnt have leftover files from the devs, so that someone can piece everything together.
So i doubt something like that will happen to ME3.

Well, if someone is capable of decode, is quite easy to make a reuse file (Kaiden/ash hospital scene) with shep and all his companions in the room.

No words needed :)

I felt sad for KotOR II because it was obvious they had put so much work in but didn't have time to complete it. The bugged swoop bike race on the first planet was an ominous sign of things to come. And the relatively poor visual design of the new planets (Telos, Malachor) when compared to the pre-existing designs from KotOR I was another sign that they just weren't ready.

But there was loads of good stuff in KotOR II. The characters seemed like badly-clichéd cardboard cut-outs on my first playthrough, but when I learned about the character loyalty system and tried again, every character had a really excellent story behind them, and each 2D persona was a front for the much darker past that they were each trying to hide.

Kreia especially was an incredible character, really well written and voice-acted superbly. Sara Kestelman I think? Best performance so far in a videogame for me.

Omega was supposed to be in the main game.

There are files right now, in the primary game that have Aria's dialogue in OMEGA

There's Priority earth Dialogue for every ME2 squadmate, that was never used.

The Rannoch Reaper wasn't supposed to be that way, it was supposed to be a shadow of the colosus esque battle with Shepard and team climbing the surface of it to set off bombs at key points.

Kai Leng was not supposed to play as big a role as he did. Zaeed Massani Was gonna be  the Illusive Man's personal hound to sick on people who pissed him off.

There is A LOT of stuff both in the leaked script and in game that was completely scrapped for no ****ing reason other than to get this game out the door by the end of EA's fiscal year. (March)

So yes, the game was rushed, Yes, it is incomplete.

You're right, it won't end. This fanbase is far too petty and pathetic. The cycle of whining and complaining will never die, not as long as the fanbase keeps acting like a 13 year old girl going through her first ever breakup... And let's face it, the fanbase WILL keep acting like that.

This is what you face. Don't blame the fire if it burns (Sounds familiar?) If you and other "I hate you because you don't like ME3 as is/aka you don't think as me" people had the same bravery than this mod guys, the videogame industry would be a very different thing

Sadly, you are to busy insulting the others instad of doing something constructive.

So sorry, in this story, you will be a rEAper husk.:bandit:

I've started to do something like this, but in first place I'll wait until Bioware closes his ME3 Stuff.

First of all, because threads like this one can make them see the truth: "WE ARE UNSTOPPABLE"

xD

Did I defend ME3? Did I say it had no flaws? No, to both questions. But the thing is, there's a thing called "getting over it and moving on". This board has been nothing but a whine fest since the very first week it came out, and it's. Never. Stopped. There comes a point where it starts becoming an obbession, and this board passed that point long ago. A mature fanbase would have just moved on, or started focusing on the things they do like about it (what I've done), rather then focusing on the bad and just complaining day in and day out, nonstop, until the horse is so beaten that it's literally in pieces and everyone is now beating individual chuncks of horse meat because it's still not out of their system yet. It's like Metroid fans and the constant complaining of Other M. Yes, it is mostly disliked, yes there's are some things that really are some bad flaws that do need talked about. But that doesn't mean that nearly a year later people should still be complaining about the same exact things they were 8 months ago. Seriously, you wouldn't be able to see the difference between a screencap from a month after ME3's release compared to now because of how long it's gone on.

You hate a number of parts of the game and complain about it? So did I... Once. Thing is, I actually got the hell over it after realizing that I had more productive things to do then hate on a game months after months after months. This board could be renamed "complaining about a video game: the movie", and it would be true. I want the board to do the mature thing, and like the young girl in a breakup, get over it, move on, find something or someone else, and stop crying about it! Bunch of babies...

By the way, for proof that I'm not some ME3 lover-

In that case, I will put an extreme case in my country. A couple got his son into vegetative state since 1989. The person who anestesized him make this. They got justice last year, when they won the trial.  They were cryers? Or heroes?

Of course, not the same situations and not the same magnitude, but an example that if you want something to go right, you have to fight for it until is solved. Even if is about a sandwich I started this thread to give HOPE to all the players that feel abandoned.
They are no babies, they are adults fighting for that they want.

Just a videogame? maybe, but any person shall decide what his/her fight is. For many people, ME is their fight. You can like it or not.

Insulting people only results on Stan or other moderator closing the thread (rightfully) and pissing the people who had interest on it . This boards are not intended to insult or make pointless other people ideas/views because you don't like them

If you don't like a thread ignore it.

The original post was not only about the endings.

On this mod, several secondary missions were restored to their original content, and they added cutscenes while needed.

I mean, if it seems to be ONLY about endings, I will edit ASAP ;)

Those are files that are being added in patches and dlc's. If the game disc doesnt have leftover files, the game cant be considered in the literal sense incomplete.
The only thing that seems to be part of the original game and then was later removed to be sold as dlc was "From ashes" (at least that i heard).

I actually downloaded that mod OP. Haven't had actual time to go back and try it out yet sadly.

The EC adds emotion closure, that was one problem of many. It's not done.

EC fixed nothing, I for one didn't need more starjar, I needed less (namely none) of him.  his stupid logic, and "lol, reapers are like fire" ruined the game more than any other problem with the game.  the other problems are quite annoying as well, but none are as bad as the ending.  in order (currently and pre EC)
  • ending
  • autodialogue
  • lack of consequences (Rachni anyone?)
  • fetch quests
  • glitches
EC didn't fix anything IMO.

Uhhh....no actually, you can delete every patch and every DLC Omega and the Priority earth files will still be there.

I know because this stuff was datamined a month after the game released.

That is the point.

If they don't use this content in future DLCs, modder will find a way to do it.

Other example is Call of Cthulhu, Dark Corners of the Earth. Dataminers entered the code and translated it to some languages (original was only in english).

They even decrypted an editor forgotten in the code. That was fun

You can see this case on Clan Dlan's web, if you know spanish. The other languages are no supported there.
