 System Spec:

Intel Pentium D 2.8Ghz processor
4Gb Reaper 800 RAM
nVidia GeForce 8800GT 512 graphics

For about 30 seconds out of every minute, my game runs beautifully. Seriously, the framerate is flawless and everything is beautiful.

Then for about the next 30 seconds, I'm tempted to rip my face off and short out my system with my own blood before throwing it out of the window as my framerate drops to about 2-5 FPS. The FR stays like that for about another 30 seconds before it returns to its otherwise flawless state. Rinse and Repeat.

Anyone have any idea just what's happening? I know that my system should be able to handle this game and I'm starting to give up on it, despite absolutely LOVING it.

Any help is welcome.
