I know it is VERY early to talk about such a thing even though so little is known about it but hey, if Bioware is listening, it wouldn't hurt to let them know what we would like. Past special editions of Dragon Age games have been pretty good but nothing really CE worthy in my opinion. So I'm curious, what do you think should be in there?

Clothmap and, if they won't have it in all editions, a good old physical manual.

Cloth map. I don't usually care for the statues that get included in CE's though.

Another good thing to add is plushie Cassandra and interrogation chair.

Maybe special skills or weapons. I just don't want clothing as special bonuses like a lot of games out there.

A cloth map--that's actually CLOTH, not this cheap cardboard *looks at Skyrim*

But, seriously, DLC. It should come out a year or two after the game is out, and have all DLC.

Seems like Bioware will surely include some kind of DLC or in-game upgrade like the previous installments. I personally would like it to include some kind of special "making of" that's a good hour plus long. Interview of the voice actors, 3D models, Q&A's, ect...

You want them to release the collector's edition of the game two years after it's out? lol. okay. I think that's for the 'game of the year' or something of the like to handle. Collector's edition unfortunately will come with a crappy book with pictures in it that will hangout by your ****ter for all time, a code to a set of armor people will end up getting anyway, and launch DLC that should have been in the game anyway.

Reduced price on DLC's that is finished and is to come after game release.

Maybe a little figure that holds a memory-stik or something.

Guide with map for the game.

Another vote for a cloth map! An artbook (and I mean a good one, not the thing that EA passed for artbooks lately) and a physical soundtrack are also a must. I stopped dreaming about a manual long ago.

A cloth manual. It will be kind of a pain in the ass to read.

Hopefully some nice accessories and not bloody dlc companions.

A price tag under $100.

Several games I've wanted to get the CE for have included statues or other collectables that bumped it out of my price range, and they didn't have an intermediate edition of the game. Just the regular and the CE.

Things I like in a CE:
  • Soundtrack
  • Day 1 DLC
  • Art book
  • Making of videos
  • Cloth map
  • Metal case

This. I especially want an artbook. CEs with art books are always my favourites c:

And a metal case would be nice as well. And I like statues, but they indeed have a tendency to make stuff a bit expensive... I'm really not interested in DLC, unless it's some not very important but nice bonus mission (like Vlad the Impaler in ACR), and not an extra Companion or plot important mission. That stuff should be in the base game...

Oh, right! A metal case would be good indeed :)

Cloth map, soundtrack, art book, or maybe a "making of" video would be neat. Maybe a case that makes the box look like a bound book with whatever the symbol of the Inquisition is could also be cool.

It's been confirmed that that Bioware is making a Dragon Age themed art-book with art from all three games for retail, so I doubt one will be included with the CE. I'd like a neat nick-knack sort of thing (personally preferring Morrigan or Old God Baby themed), metal case, and some exclusive DLC.

Exclusive Digital Items are the only reason I buy Collectors Editions, I would've bought the one for Skyrim if it did, but it didn't. I literally got the last (and only copy) of the ME3 CE in a futureshop that was all the way across Toronto just to get it.

Big Cloth Map - something I can place on my wall.
Avatar cloths and props
Exclusive in-game Weapon or Armor that leveling with your character, so I can still use it even at the end of the game. No need to be the best, but good at something.
Art book, but a big one please, your last ME artbook is just too small.
A real thick manual, none of the EA digital manual crap. Few chapters of the lore would be nice.
Soundtrack standard these days.
And lastly, codes of all other promotional items from all possible outlets, like one from Gamestop, one from Amazon type business practices. We are buying a CE already, we deserve all the different individual promotional items.

When Bioware asked this question months ago, I was dead set on a lore/art book. But now they're making one of those! Which is completely fantastic and I will throw my money at it, but it means I don't want one for the Collector's Edition anymore. I worry it would turn out how the ME3-CE-Art-Book vs ME-Art-Book comparison worked out, where if you bought the nice big separate edition there was literally no point in owning the tiny, super-abridged CE version.

Instead, I'd like...a soundtrack, definitely. Maybe replicas of in-game items? (the DA3 equivalent of Warden's Promise, a manifesto, etc.) Cloth map. And the Day 1 DLC included. I'm not at all interested in getting CE-exclusive in-game belts or the like, although I suspect they'll be included, too.
