It's called Bronze. That with some good luck in your squad setup and the Reapers are gone fast. I did mine on Silver in two hours, and dies twice, but there's noself extraction nessasary, just the groups. Meaning that you can sacrifice yourself (and the small amount of money) to take the Banshee at the last wave to the other side of the map and save the rest of your squad being whiped completelly out. Yeah, it's my excuse for the sync deaths... "Did it for the squad."

You need to set that in game(in multiplayer when you look into the Challenges submenu), the N7HQ doesn't apply it, for what ever reason.

wow this was a good challenge for halloween .to see a pumpkin in the game!! that was so cool,i wouid like to see more of this .we all know that thanksgivng & christmas is coming up, ...do we get a commendation-pack for this challenge.??

What does the Halloween challenge running until Monday morning mean? That there will be no regular weekend challenge and thus no commendation pack this week?

I am actually somewhat disappointed, especially since the newly added Valkyrie Rifle will make it even more unlikely to quickly level up my favourite N7 weapons.

Actually in another thread its been posted that there will still be running a Weekend Challenge, the time extension is for the people effect by Hurricane Sandy.

Can you link to that thread please? I found another thread simply stating
"There is still a weekend challenge",
which is quite an ambigous statement IMHO, since it could also mean, that the time extension for the Halloween challenge turned it into a weekend challenge.
OFFICIAL clarification would be nice. Since the announcement of the regular weekend challenge is overdue by now. So I am afraid the Halloween challenge is all we will get. The place for the timer on top of the BSN page is also already taken, so I wonder how BW would manage to time-limited challenges running at the same time.

It was a kindness offered to those on the East coast U.S. without power after the hurricane.  I think it's wonderful of them.   It's my understanding that the weekend operation will still be on offer too.

It's not working then either... Clicking on it, selecting it... None of it works, not in N7HQ and not in Multiplayer itself. It's my first banner, so maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't know...
I have the pc version of the game.

I'm not sure. The Halloween challenge countdown is at 98hours now so it still makes ~ 4 days

in the challenge menu in-game , the halloween challenge should have a green ✔ , then you can click on set title.
But apparently others have reported issues to setup this banner.
It works for me in-game and also is displayed in the N7HQ

1. Thank you for this Halloween challenge and the banner. I had a great time playing it. I found it by accident last night and so it was wonderful surprise. Having my Krogan carry around a pumpkin made me giggle. This challenge and the Krogans meleeing their way to victory have been my favorite challenges so far on ME3 multiplayer and I have been playing since the game came out.

2. I also very much appreciate the balance changes. I have a hard time completing missions even on bronze, and I was afraid I was going to have to stop playing since the game had become so hard. Thank you for fixing this on the bronze level and allowing me to have fun in multiplayer again.

3. Since I mostly play on bronze and have to purchase a great deal of medigel in the equipment packs, I don't get to buy many spectre boxes. I still have 15 characters that are not unlocked, so completing a lot of the banner challenges is impossible for me. Getting a banner was going to be far, far, into the future. Thank you so much giving me a banner challenge I could do. Thank you for making me feel included. I know it seems like a small thing, but it does make a difference to a player such as me. I am very happy to be able to have a banner, too.

This is a very cute way to give all the noobs a banner, but I would still have like to get my weekly commendation pack and some challenge points. Got it in 5 bronze waves. 2 if you don't count Ghostbuster. Not hard. But it really sucks that all the randoms are at Firebase Ghost right now.

Morning guys n gals. So to answer the questions I've seen popping up - Yes there will still be a weekend challenge, no the Halloween challenge does not give a commendation pack "just" the banner and yes it is a permanent banner.

How can I apply this banner? 
Then I click on it in N7HQ, nothing happens.

How do you display your banner on ps3? Do you set that at N7HQ, or in game? I've never seen anything that would tell me one way or another.

You can add any banner to the game without a patch/dlc?
If yes, great! Really! We need individual characters banners man!
Mastery Drell, Mastery Asari, etc... X points with any.

Granted, some people (like me) have experienced Hurricane Sandy, and might need that extension (to be fair). So, I guess this works.

Otherwise, for future events like this...make it a day only event. It took me under an hour to get this done.
