Would you balance a gun around the possiblity that every person using it has those consumables? I dont even know why I replied. This isn't a discussion worth having.

Batguard sounds like a male novaguard when charging and also when stomping husks. Intentional? Surely this was noticed during testing.

If a Weapon Mod is required to make the gun usable then that's a significant design failing on the dev's part.  The mods are meant to encourage differing playstyles and builds not be a mandatory requirement for a flawed weapon, the Argus being a prime example.

regarding the scion nerf: cannon damage decreased from "800 to 400"???

this is some type of writing error, right?

i mean, what are you saying was its damage: 800 - what? supernovas?
because obvious not damage points - as it had hit shieldgate of my 1238 shielded turian havoc/ ghost with fresh activated +4000 shield stimpack absolute always with the second hit !on bronze!

so either this thing dealt massive bonus damage to player shields or i do not understand your "800" verification of its former damage one bit - please explain it to me Mr. Fagnan!

Interesting changes. The GPR might just become an okay weapon in the hands of headshot classes, although it still seems more like an Uncommon than a Rare. Raptor buff sounds good, although I think it'll need a little more love to bring it to where it needs to be. Mantis was...unexpected, but perhaps it helps new players who are looking to fulfil a one-shot/one-kill role.

Good job fixing the Scion, too. That cannon was just crazy!

Okay, let's go monster hunting!

It was discovered that Scion cannons were registering their hits twice. So the "800" you saw is what was fired from the Scion, but players registered the hit as 800 x2 (so 1600). Decreasing it by half means you'll still get 800 damage but its acutally 400 x2 (IMO this seems like a quick fix until a better root solution is found, but I could be wrong)

Also note that 800 / 400 is the base enemy damage, before difficulty multipliers.

Well glad they did something about that Scion 2X damage....I was wondering why I was out in 2 shots versus 3....they are brutal! At least this makes it a little more palateable! Oh and can't wait to get me hands on that Batarian Vanguard!

ja, that the double damage-bug for the scion cannon is still active - just the "base damage" for it has been halfed as solution i got - but that does not explain all this many of my THS/ TGI experiences on bronze with it - either the stimpacks are not working correct or it also deals bonus damage versus player shields

- as the 2X doubled 800 - so 3200 damage of 2 of its cannon shots could have according to the official infos not been able to lower my 1238 + 4000 bronze shields to shieldgate like i am very, very sure it allways did - and make the third shot push through to healthgate

- not even if the "increases shields by 4000" in the stimpack-description actually would just have "raised it "to 4000" - but the scion cannon always managed to do just that to my THS/ TGI with it on - on bronze

- so where is the the/ my mistake i really like to learn about?

is it its awefull lack of concrete firing sound that just had let me think that i evaded the third shot while at shieldgate sometimes (in the very near past - have a feeling that this whole "shieldgates are removed from game "sometimes" thing" we had very soon after latest patch+DLC was some kind of, under todays circumstances not really much like back then reproducable, rare/ temporary and slight server "stuttering"/ whatever run-limits-appearing tech-term fits, or something like that.)?

- but in anyway, what ever it was - if it now deals only correct 800 bronze-damage-points to my shields, i will finally still be happy with the scion regardless for good!

I like this update.

Especially so since I am working on getting the sniper rifle banner and the Raptor is a decent gun.

Can't wait to see how they adjust the Collectors. I certainly don't want them to be easy. Just....not cheap.

I don't know about you guys, but that buff on the GPR is doing wonders on my Geth engenier, that headshot multiplier, coupled with the hunter mode buff is killing mobs much faster than before.

Also love the snipper rifles buffs.

THANK YOU!! for reducing the Scion dmg shot. That thing was almost two shoot me the whole time in gold matches.
