I thought he sounded so off in Witch Hunt, DA2 was okay, but the original "enchantment?" was the best imo.

To be fair, I think every character in Dragon Age has someone in the BSN community who wants them dead.

I put it down to sociopathy, myself.

In Dragon Age 2, Bohdan admits to Hawke is getting quite old and worries about Sandal a great deal.

If there is a death Scene for Bohdan, All of BSN will unite and shout, "FOR BOHDAN!!!!" and then we kicks all ENEMIES NPCS. And it will be EPIC Battle to Fight in Bohdan's honor.

Yah know I think the way that Bodahn and Sandal are in the right place in the right time seems suspicious to me. They're always where the action is gonna be at. The way he joins the Warden's camp is also kinda suspicious. And attaching himself to Hawke with the whole "I will repay you for saving my son" thing... If they weren't in the right place at the right time they wouldn't be in the game. It's not a conspiracy or divine intervention.

I must agree with 
Foopydoopydoo, Sandal and Bodahn actions are way to strange to be considered normal.
