Atlases are still slow and big. Smart players should almost never be hit by them. Phantoms, turrets etc. didn't need nerfing.

Now that I'm used to dragoons, I find them easy to deal with. But I still think a movement speed nerf is a decent idea.

Do not underestimate an Atlas now. He really kills and any dumb teamate who gets hit by the DOT rocket will hit you too. And especially while you're busy with all the **** on screen - Dragoons, Phantoms, Engies setting up turrets

I think too many people discount Atlases because they don't kill players very often.  But that isn't their job.  They are designed to pin you down so other enemies can close with or flank you.

The insanely accurate laz0r will make sure you have no shields. And the missile will always hit you when you have a Phantom or a Goon in your grill, to stagger you for a kill.

the problem of dragon is not only armor made
they move too fast, even faster than phantom because theyt won't find cover
when solo and deactivate device, they are really hard to distract . chasing you and block your objective. kill them just another infinte respawn.

Dragoons ALONE are a bad addition. Coupling them with all other previously multi-buffed stuff was a crazy idea. Seriously, Bioware should take a look at statistics if they don't believe us.

Not to be a smart **** but did they make a very recent change to the Atlas?

Played them once tonight gold and either there was lag which I didn't see or something has changed. A bud I have run gold with a lot was next to me and we were trying to deal with a hoard of Phantom's and Dragoon's when an Atlas (Goddess) cought my eye, before we could move the rocket hit and took us both out which shocked me, I was running the ghost and had just used a stim pack.

We talked about the match after and something was off, I will ave to play a few more games to determine but your post cought my eye.

The Dragooon's need an adjustment, they spam lash like no tomorrow.

I like the challenge. Through and through it made the game a great deal better. I'm not too thrilled with my now seemingly insane need to have armour piercing mods/ammo at all times, but all in all its more fun.

Keep em challenging, and shut the door on the boxes. Its boring in there. -.-

The new DLC made Atlases faster and have the DOT rockets. Also thay seem to be even more accurate with their Gatling gun. The trajectories and reaction times are insane. Just fkn insane.

It's challenging for VET players with good gear. They know the game in and out. For newer players Silver must be super hard and Gold is probably nearly impossible.

The atlas rocket is pretty much undodgeable. As the shadow, you cloak, SS a phantom, SS another phantom. If the Atlas can see you after the second SS then no matter where you go the rocket will hit you. Tonight I did my second SS in sight of an Atlas and quickly rolled twice down a hallway so I was out of sight and then I got hit by the rocket. It literally did an L turn in order to hit me.

I have pretty much gone to playing the shadow exclusively against Cerberus in PUGs because otherwise the phantoms/dragoons will wipe our our squad. With the dragoons replacing guardians and centurians it is making the Cerberus mastery hard to get, lol.

My 8 year old brother runs golds with crap gear, though this may not be typical it should have some relevance to the topic. If you can beat the SP game on insanity Silver shouldn't be a challenge, and Insanity is not that much of a challenge.

Casual players and those just starting out should be sticking to bronze of which anyone under most circumstances should be able to accomplish. Its going to be rough no matter what when you start out but thats why there are lower tiers with less of the demonic spawns. Stick to bronze, learn the ropes. Upgrade when ready.

The hit and collision detection is horrible in this game and completely unnatural.

I did that when I was new. But I'm pretty sure I woudn't have the patience to deal with this BS if I was new now.

I played since day 1 and used to run Gold with Air Quotes against Cerberus (mostly 90% of the time), They definitely ninja buffed Atlas's tracking hell lot. Before I can dodge its rocket with a human character, now its nearly impossible even for Fury/Slayer/Turian

Atlas's most annoying thing is its godlike tracking rocket. NO YOU CANNOT DODGE IT UNLESS USING COVER

Actually the atlas rocket turn even in a hairpin corner with a bit exaggeration. I already lost solo silver/gold because of rushing dragoons, which always paired phantoms, and they reach you before you can blink one. And if somehow fight yourself through them, and you face a survived phantom what have the ability to sync-kill you while she got staggered... no comment.

I know. Cerberus were at least fun, if a little easy. But hey, thats why we practiced on them. ;) A little buff here and there was okay. But recent ones were awful.

yea iv been playing Cerberus gold exclusively for the challenge, and then did reapers gold today for the Halloween event. Was kinda shocked at how easy the reapers felt lol.

Cerberus has nasty melee bum rush and very powerful ranged attacks from almost all their mooks, even guardians/troopers will take you out if you don't watch your flanks. I will say I think cerberus has made me a better player, my situational awareness is through the roof atm. Like after every single kill i check my flanks.

I've been playing this game on and off since the demo, and I remember when Reapers were the tough enemy. Right after the patch I did 2 player bronze Cerberus and we got facerolled on wave 3. I can handle the damn phantoms, I can deal with the DoT magic tracking rockets, but the hordes of Dragoons sprinting around the map are enough to make me deal with Collectors/Geth/Reapers only. I haven't, and won't try solo anything with Cerberus now, because it's extremely likely that it's impossible if you get a hack or an activate objective. I would suggest swapping the armor/health between Dragoons and Guardians, which would mitigate the melee hordes with a simple shockwave or something.

Yeah, you do get better and sort of "in the groove" But there's plenty of things that cap your skill and there's nothing you can do about it. You wil take damage in lamest ways possible. Impossible accuracy, impossible totally inhuman reaction times, physics and time continuum bending rockets and other BS.

The only enemy faction that is fairly balanced is Reapers.

Collectors got too many one-hit-kills and Praetorians that shoot through walls with their magic butt lasers. Captains/Troopers with insta-stomp and always spawn directly behind u out of spite after u kill one of them.

Cerberus is just messed up. It is impossible to finish a 4-Device-Hack objective on solo Gold/Platinum because of Dragoons running up to u faster than drell and respawning quicker than Wolverine can heal himself then bum rushing u all over again. Phantoms got shieldgate/healthgate penetration (i was one-hit-killed by a palm cannon the other day when i had full HP/Shields on SE). Atlas DOT missile is a cheat. It stuns u and leaves u with one tiny slither of red HP but because it also stunlocks u, there is no way u can use an ops pack to heal before the DoT burns u to death. BS!

Geth... all the Geth except Assault Troopers cheat. Rocket Trooper has rocket machine gun and can fire before he's even got round a corner. Pyro torches u from further away than his flame animation can touch. Bomber stunlocks you so every other Geth can abuse u and stun u more, then it drops bombs on ur corpse. Prime Drone has long range troll stunlock which leaves u unable to move while u were trying to attack a Prime. Prime's cannon can bend it like Beckham firing beams around corners. Hunter can stunlock and kill you while in stasis or staggered. Prime Turrets can pass through solid walls and two-hit-kill u from behind without you knowing it was there.

It feels like the AI is using "right hand advantage" too. Some of the angles they can shoot us at now were impossible before.

I don't mind Cerberus the way they are now... what Dragoons have in brawn, they lack in tactics. I find them easy to deal with, unless I have a character with no dodge. Their Hornet gets me more often than the whips... the whips are really easy to dodge. Just strafe to the side and they fly right by...

Atlas DOT is a bit of a **** to deal with though.... alot of times I just run next to a team mate and say, "I'm about to die, revive me." Same with Banshee warp balls.

Other than the Geth... the only thing I find really cheap currently, is Praetorians shooting eye lasers out their ass when I'm behind them. Seriously Bioware?

Problem is Dragoon having armor and ultimately becoming a perfect soldier without real weakness. This is bad.

My favorite part about the dragoon is if his melee gets dodged he immediatly fires nonestop at you while his whips are still out then jumps to whip you again.

I love how every facton was to be different and present a different challenge and now after all the balance changes each faction is just all rush the player none stop so they're all geth but the ones not labelled geth have sync kills as well

Dude, i have my solo mastery banner twice over and have completed platinum on my own. Its not a question of being tough or easy - the AI are simply pulling cheap moves on us and its annoying. Not impossible to beat, but total BS none the less. In fact, what they do is pretty much on a par with players who missile glitch (they cheat).
