Will adding Protheans to MP REALLY make that much of a difference?

I understand those guys who love Javik (i do too) and want to play as a Prothean. Let them ask for it. Telling them over and over again that it's highly unlikely going to happen and that there are very few things Bioware could use to bring back the Prothean race, won't help anybody.

To be honest, I don't want them in MP. They'll just make Javik and his story seem less important. (I can't think of the right word.) But, this isn't about that.
If they add Protheans, all they will be is a new skin, new voice, possibly new powers or just old ones.
Will that REALLY make the game that much better? You're dividing a community in two. (Pro-lore and anti-lore. Lol Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is teaching me so much about civil wars.)
People will just get bored of them and see them as just another class. Others will get mad and rage that they are breaking lore. (Again, to be honest, adding Protheans isn't breaking lore because Bioware creates the lore. They can make it rain ponies on Palaven and we can't say anything about it since it's their game.)
tl;dr: Protheans are just a character skin that will not be worth the trouble.
IAnd for anyone who says anything about their biotics. t's basically green biotics, no difference. <_<

Collectors were brought into and cloned in dark space. The collectors were to play the role of janitors and clean up pockets of resistance. Apparently though the collectors came in early though and are right at the frontlines with the marauders and cannibals.

A lot of arguments were used against the inclusion of the Volus:
- Not known for their combat ability. Known for being explosive when shot, instead.

- More work could've been put into other Retaliation characters instead
I'm sure there are at least a few other problems people had with them being included, but there's a huge difference between Protheans and Volus. Protheans are extinct, Volus are not. Adding more Protheans would:
-Trivialize Javik's character/story
-Make Reapers seem incompetent. The fate of the Protheans serves as an example of what could happen should Shepard fail. If there's even a slim chance for a few hundred thousand to survive the Harvest, the Reapers will no longer be the threat they are.
-Add almost nothing to the story, unless they survived in such a way that their memories were intact.
Again, I'm sure there are other valid reasons. I'd like to see someone come up with a list as to why they should be included, though. They only difference between a Prothean MP character and a new Adept with the same powers would be the Voice and Character model. Is there really this much butthurt over the novelty of playing as a Prothean? Why not campaign for better quality characters for the future instead (new powers/appearances for all)?

Pretty much the only problem I have with Retaliation. Anyway, though MP has no narrative/little effect on SP, it is still bound by what could happen in SP. If you'll notice, every character we've recieved thus far can be found as a War Asset.

You mean the same way we share maps as a community? How many different instances of Firebase White are allowed at one time? But White is just one location so how can different groups play the same map at the same time?
