Glad you are ok. Quick question: Was Hoboken, NJ flooded out too? There is an Olive Garden there. Worst place I have ever gone to eat. I hope it was washed away. F*ck that place...

LOL. Of course nobody being hurt in the process goes without saying...right?

Very glad to hear you are doing well amidst this terrible tragedy. These kinds of posts mean so much to myself and to the team working on Mass Effect and the multiplayer feature. This is why we do what we do. Thank you for sharing and stay safe! - Corey Gaspur Lead Combat Designer

NYC cop here, just wanted to say that I'm so exhausted and saddened, haven't slept in 3days and haven't had power at home until this evening from what I hear. Reading about this Halloween challenge on my phone is one of the only things that has made me smile. All I can think about is that when I get home I'm going to sleep for 24 hrs and then jump into it and take my mind off this! Thank you BioWare! I see a lot of people complaining about it because it doesn't "fit the lore"... Please just ignore them. It's so appreciated!

Well at least you have power now and can play some ME3... I'll be expecting your condolences when my minuscule town gets flooded.

nice to see people from around NYC are more interested in videogame
challenge rather than in the disaster that is happening around them, let
the neighbour drown I need to get the halloween banner, I mean really,
somebody with this happening around them thinks about videogame
challenge? then maybe the news about the disaster are a bit exaggerated :?:huh:<_<

games are an escape. why would you want to be forced to remember all th deaths and damage the hurricane has caused? i think id go  a bit mental if i had to deal with that. let them have a few moments of peace, as if nothing happened.

Way to put a completely negative spin of the thread. How is OP letting "the neighbour drown"? Are you seriously blaming OP for, shock horror, "daring" to not spend 100% of his time worrying about the storm? Unless you're in a similar situation you can shut up and leave.

I am not accusing anyone of anything, sorry if it seems that way, I just stated what I felt, if it was me in the situation, I'd try to help somehow, just seems hard to understand for me that's all

You can't always help people you know, i don't have any experience with storms like this (thank God) but i can imagine  that however one may feel about all this, you'll need a bit of relaxation every now and then, and why should that not be with a game? I don't know if the news about it is exaggerated, but i'm pretty sure that what i have seen on TV here is something that is terrible for everyone who has to live through it. All the best to everyone in those regions for now and the future.

The majority of people don't need "help" at this point. NYC isn't really in a state of "people dying right now" emergency, the problems are now long-term economic recovery and infrastructure repair. And people need a break. Escapism is powerful.

Also, ftr, people who don't have training to help trying to do so usually cause more problems than if they hadn't tried.

To the OP and all others to whom this applies, I'm glad you're okay.

Glad to hear you are doing well.  We wish you well and hope things get back to normal soon.  Also happy to hear we could help offer a distraction for you.
