Hey there ladies and gents :)

So, how would you all like a room in our protagonist's castle where the head, or statue of very special enemies we may (sigh...or may not) fight during the game are collected in a room of the castle? It doesn't have to be a room of immense size; something that is smaller but pops would be good, actually. Anyway, I think it could be kind of neat to have some kind of mount from special (and very strong) defeated foes. Maybe there are some side quest with REALLY strong bosses at the end and after slaying them; we are given a head mount or statue to display our victory. Now, in front of each mount; maybe we could have the  weapon( preferably strong and unique, but not game breaking)  we obtain(if any) from such an epic fight would be on display with kind of a nice glowing aura around it. Of course the weapons can be equipped at any time, this would just serve as their exclusive home. Or maybe some of you would like it if these special weapons were not like others in that you could only carry one of them at any given time; leaving the others on display in front of the trophy mounts.

Well, that's all for now. Are there any fans that would like this as well? Or perhaps I am the only one to enjoy these little small things? (I don't mean small for the devs....I know this stuff is not close to being as easy as a lot of people seem to think). Take care now! ^_^

I'm down for this.

I like collecting trophies. Bonus points if we can decide to do it or not. Like (pulls item out of a hat) a Golem's Heart could make a nice decorative piece in your castle or can be an ingredient for kick-ass sword. Which would you prefer?

But even without choice collecting trophies is cool. One of the better things in Assassin's Creed 2 was fixing up the villa and filling it with art, weapons, and models of different crafts.

Aw man, REALLY nice idea about using the Golem heart as decoration or an ingredient for a sword. I would prefer the sword at first, but maybe fight another Golem later and use the heart for decoration. :)

Really? It wasn't something like Skyrim? That was another game where I spent too much time making my room look like a bad ass lived there.

There was plenty of glitches with it, sadly. But even with them most of the time it was great to just put swords, shields, and the like up. Or place your favorite out-grown armor up on a dummy. Or the armor of a dead companion you liked as some sort of shrine.

I'd like to be able to make a wall of my crucified enemies around my castle.

I'd like to do harvester research on my defeated enemies to make composite monster minions out of their remains.

Yes.

Or instead of a trophy room, can I have a containment unit? (Ghostbusters)

I think they should be placed about the castle, manor or whatever we get, show em off and decorate the place. Also collectables like the ME ship models those were entertaining.

Eh.

I really didn't get much of a thrill out of collecting the trophies in Awakening. The coolness of a dragon skull hanging over your throne fades after about two seconds. Unless someone walks in and says "Maker's Breath! A dragon!", it just seems hollow.

I prefer functional trophies.

Trophies would be an awesome idea. I'd love decorating my house with them. "The black knight's shield" or "the apostate's staff" would make awesome collectibles (and in the case of some of the trophies, maybe even a quest down the line where it 'comes to life or is stolen and creates another problem that requires questing').

Yeah... I could do without this. There will be achievements anyway.

I kinda liked the Alpha Protocol deal where you gained little trophies from missions you performed throughout the game, complete with comments when you clicked on them.

Trophies would be a good way to personalize a castle.

Most of my characters are narcissistic egomaniacs who are the best so this would fit in perfectly.

Some were given as gifts, some because of a romance, some because you killed someone and took this as a trophy.

Yeah. Alpha Protocol is a good way to look at trophies.

One nice feature would be being able to send things at any time to your storage so you don't have to fuss with inventory space. Divinity 2 did this and it was nice not having to deal with encumbrance and sorting though all items to find the select few that you use most of the time.
