I think a Blood Mage Inquisitor should and would keep the blood of their defeated enemies in vials of various shapes and sizes. For future use.

Maybe if your a wuss. Real Kings Impale their enemies.

For those unclear it is where you shove a sharpened spike up the arss and into the stomach.

No.. you grease the end of a sharp wooden spike and put someone naked ontop of it and let gravity do its job. Your version sounds far too lenient.

It would be an amusing feature.

I can imagine a scene in which one of our companions wanders into it and comments:

"Oh boys, you do have a big ego!"

Trophies are corny. Didn't like them in Skyrim, didn't like them in Fable wouldn't like them in DA. Mostly because they mean absolutely nothing since the things/people I kill generally just need killing. xp

I wouldn't mind wearing like a locket or a ring or something from some bad guy I have a personal reason to dislike though. That's not a trophy really since it wouldn't be displayed it would just be something for me to RP with. Like my Alienage elf warden who kept Adaia's and the wedding ring through the whole of Origins.

This could be cool! Picture Hawke's room, except every major quest you finish leaves you a token of that quest in there. A broken staff from the Dalish you kill, a banner from the dead qunari, the helmet of some dead Templar... It would be cool.

I don't think I'd get much from it. I want to be doing things, not looking at my room.

f the writers included some of these sort of things in the dialogue and cinematics, that might be more worthwhile, though. Either for reminiscence, or as a means of intimidation - when the PC is Intimidating someone, showing the other guy glancing nervously at the dragon's head might be amusing.

Though I'm not really sure I'd want my characters to take trophies from fallen foes. I think they'd be more the sorts to keep mementoes of absent friends than trophies of defeated enemies.

Man, I'd totally be down for a wall full of dripping severed body parts. But I'd prefer it to be an outer wall, hopefully overlooking a thoroughfare, so I can write threatening messages in the blood of my slaughtered enemies to frighten the populace into submissio-

YES.

I wanted to put some stuff in Hawke's home, like some statues to stick favourite outfits on and weapon racks. Heck, even sticking the Arishok's massive swords above the door like crossed swords would have been awesome (I found that statue in the docks incredibly rude and in immensley bad taste)

They did it in Awakening, you could find a dragon egg in the Silverite mines, a dragon skull for defeating the dragon spirit and a golem shell for killing the giant golem, all of which get exposed in the Throne room of Vigil's keep. It was pretty cool.

Would love to have this kind of features in DA3, especially since there's a chance that we're going to own a castle.

In general, I'd like any kind of home base, where I can display weapons, armor, tropies, books, crafting ingredients, food and etc.  Hawke's estate was nice, but the player didn't get to customize any of the contents within.

I'd also like to see the return of the screenshot menu from Origins, where I could look over my screenshots (with captions), as if I was looking through a photo album about my journey from start to finish.  The screenshots menu was one of the things that I liked most about the pc version compared to xbox 360.

What if I crucify them upside down? Is that better?

I would like a place where you had your very own Dr. Frankenstein doing autopsies on the monsters you have collected/killed. Perhaps also a few bandits.

Of course in the name of science. And also so you had a place where you could go and look at the different kinds of monsters you have killed. And then Dr. Frankenstein should have a few words to say about each specimen. Something simple like how old the Dragon was, or why the Hurlock is how it is.

Anyway. Good suggestion OP.

That should be reserved for some of the creepier PCs, like a Blood Mage or a Reaver.

Oh wow, there is some really nice ideas here! I didn't expect many people to comment honestly. I see a lot of suggestions about being able to place the battle trophies throughout the entire castle; awesome idea!
