Hello, I very recently purchased a new physical copy of Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition on PC, and I was able to register the game and the DLC to my EA account after installing the game through the two disks provided. The content was completely playable and authorized, I had no issues until I decided to put the CD Key/Serial Number (located on the back of the instruction manual, was required to install the game by disk) into Origin in hopes I wouldn't need the disk to boot the game anymore. It put DA:O UE in my games list so I proceded to download the game so it creates a folder in the Origin Games folder. I paused the download and moved the files I already installed from the disks into that folder, when that completed I resumed the download to let Origin recognize the files (and download 3gb more of stuff, physical copy only installed about 24gb of data, download from Origin had it at 27gb total and downloaded what apparently wasn't on the disks).
Now when I try to load my save files I am unable to play as I get a notification that my DLC is unothorized and the owner of the DLC has to log in in order to use the content. I only have one EA account, it is the one I'm logged into in game, the DLC is already tied to the account, and being unable to access my only character is stressing me out. Patched to 1.05 too.
This is baffling me to no end. If anyone could potentially help me it will be very much appreciated.
EDIT: And I did put the DLC code into Origin, it accepted the code but my DLC is still locked as "unothorized". It tells me I need to log in with someone who previously had the content which is why I'm baffled at this problem.
EDIT 2: I tried starting a new game to see what might happen, but I still get the notification that I will not be able to access my DLC. I have relogged in several times and have restarted the game several times, as well as restarted and relogged into Origin.
