Yeah, especially prior to Horizon.  That includes Firewalker if you are a biotic.  Not that there are many other side quests available at that time.

For DCC, it is also good to pick which upgrades you want and choose the missions that have the ones that will benefit you the most since you have a cap before DCC starts.  For Soldier I sort of liked doing Assassin so I could get the Viper

i see but if after a completed game on veteran as a Adept can i then go in to insanity with a different class but keep my level i got from doing a veteran run as a Adept, ?I Always fully upgrade before IFF on any game mode just incase,

Nope, your class will carry over. To start a different class you either have to reimport an ME1 save, start fresh, or use gibbed (save game editor) to change your class
