Thank you very much, but I´m surprised about what you said, I thought some improvements were going to be implemented in the ps3 version to enhance his performance in framerate etc... In fact I think i´ve read about it somewhere.
As for point 1, please double check if you can use another CD for your DLC. I am not 100% if my answer is totally correct so you better be sure. You should ask the devs on Twitter, twitter.com/LesPaulDuJour would be a good person to ask
He just tweeted a pic of PS3 version of MET ;P
That packaging looks pretty thin. I'm guessing one disc per game.
Anyway, anyone got an ETA on the Mass Effect 2 update?

So tempting :3
That case looks pretty thin for 3 discs. I really hope Bioware wasn't decieving us about having the first ME game be a physical copy. I don't want it to be like what Ubisoft did for Assassin's Creed Ezio Trilogy which was just one disc with the other 2 games being digital copies downloadable from it. Plus what's with the non enligh sticker on the right side? Please don't let everyone down Bioware. Physical disc or no buy.

To be fair, my 3D copy of Tron Legacy is the same size as a PS3 case and holds 4 discs, so its not outside the realm of possibility for this to hold 3.

The PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect Trilogy will have the original Mass Effect with Bring Down the Sky integrated into the game, both on-disc and on the PSN download. Mass Effect 2 will still have the same DLC on-disc that it was originally shipped with: Cerberus Network; Kasumi; Overlord; and Lair of the Shadow Broker. Finally, Mass Effect 3 will also be exactly as it originally shipped.
^From the blog. ME1 on PS3 will be on a disc for the trilogy.

Yep I know
ME1 will be around 15$ and 10gigs
ME2 is 20$ and 13gigs
ME3 is 40$ and 14gigs
Plus DLCs. That will cost way more than the physical pack... Thats why I wonder if they will launch the trilogy pack as a single PSN downloade for 60$
As there is this PSN Day one thing now...
Even if they do release on PSN, I'm getting the physical copy. My ps3 doesn't have all this free space and my bandwidth will lock up with a download this big.

It seems my observations about the ME Trilogy case were premature.

Thats intersting. I was expecting something like the PC and xbox packages, not 3 separate cases... Not that it matters much. Hope they have some nice artwork!

Can't decide which packaging I prefer. I think PS3 one is a bit better because you can have 3 games in actual cases, not in the same carboard package, but the cardboard package make it look a bit more like exclusive collection.
If I'm gonna get this, then I'm gonna get PS3 version anyway. Don't hav Xbox and already have 3 games on PC, so I'll just buy Trilogy for my PS3
Wait, Ezio Trilogy has 2 games as codes? WTF, Ubisoft couldn't get any lazierDIsmael85 wrote...

Interesting, the PS3 packaging is different than Xbox/PC. Wonder if Sony demanded ME1 to have its separate case. This will surely make it easier for people to buy/sell standalone ME1 copies on eBay.

Not so much codes, what it is is the Revelations disc, but it has AC2 and Brotherhood on it. As soon as you put the disc in your PS3 is shows to extra blue disc icons that you can directly download to your harddrive. Each being about 7GBs a piece. I thought the package was going to include 3 discs, but I guess Ubisoft was like nope just have one. Thank the heavens for the pic showing each ME game in it's own case. That made my day. Dec 4th couldn't get here any sooner.

If they are going to make a seperate case for mass effect why don't the sell it out of the box set instead of as a download? Some of us line having a physical copy but I am not buying ps3 games I already own physical copies of.
While I can certainly understand your view on this, I'd say just bite the bullet and buy'em. If you have standard copies just trade'em up to this one. I unfortunately cannot let go of the collector's edition of ME3 or my standard for ME2, so I guess I'll have 2 copies of those. I just have to have the physical copy of ME1, no matter what.
