Incorrect. 
ME1 will be on a disc as part of the trilogy 3- disc package, (See a few posts above with the pic of the 3-disc box(es) but will also be available by itself on the PSN.

Have not heard of it. My guess is that they will release it either included in the ME1 digital copy or in the same day as a standalone. No point in holding it back just for the physical copy owners...

As far as what has been reported in this thread, Bioware said that the DLC Bring down the Sky is integrated into the ME1 game for both the Digital and Physical copy.

damn, it is november the 29th - and i am still not sure about the release date for the PS3 ME1 stand-alone download title.

the PS-store only updates one time per week, usually tuesdays in north america and wednesdays in europe - so it might be 4./5. december or 11./12. december - but i still do not know when ME1 hits the PS-store - anybody got info for me?

because all the 7th december dates i find for the trilogy release date does not fit with the PS-store update days... .

 I don't know if it has been mentioned here, but the PS3 version will have the following enhancements:

• Mass Effect 2 PS3 touch ups on a Mass Effect 1 engine.
• Some of the things, like texture popping and the overall performance has been improved,

Wow, the pictures they have look good.  Thanks for sharing    One thing I do worry about are bugs and glitches   Hopefully they won't be too bad and have quick fixes.

There are some screens on the article but they all have the xbox logo under the right corner. They look good though... I've been searching for PS3 screens of ME1 for a while now...

You tell me! Are those Screens From ME2? I have not played those games...

I find somewhat disturbing that there is no official  press material from ME1 runiing on the PS3. If they are so proud of this port why not to show some real screens and video?

No those screens are from the xbox 360 version and I cant really say why they haven't given us some screenshots or video yet . But i did read the article and what I took away from it was that they used textures and graphics from ME2 to update ME1 on the PS3 a bit . I am good with that I like the look of ME2.

I'm not too sure those are PS3 screens, as the last 2 on the slideshow contained shots from Pinnacle Station...which WON'T be coming to PS3...
