You can't find sh*t in the PSN Store anymore.

Ugh  i hate it. It's much slower than before and the search function is horrible making it very hard to find what you want. Before the update i used to search for what i was looking for, now i just check the new releases section before they remove it from there. The UI is just terrible.

I hate the upgrade to the store as well. Slower to load, and I can't find anything without title searching.

Try searching for Mass Effect you get a lot of duplicated results for the DLC... I find it very confusing.. It should show DLCs under each game not the mess that is now =S

yeah the PSN is messy and not so user friendly but I hope they upgraded their System to get new stuff in faster than before

I have followed this thread but there is one thing I don't think have been answered, that I would like an answer to.

Is the ps3 ME1 version converted from the Xbox or the PC version? Because I believe that the PC version allows you to order your teammates in more ways during combat, than the xbox version do. Anyone know this?

From what I've read, it's a Xbox port with some touch ups.

I am not quite sure since I haven't played it yet but I would assume it is a port of the Xbox version with some tweaks added onto the port; tweaks such as:

- Improved texture popping (so hopefully no more textures popping in and out)
- Uses the Mass Effect 1 engine but with Mass Effect 2 touch ups (not sure what this means)
- Better performance

It would be nice if the long elevator scenes that were in the Xbox 360 version are now fixed.

Yeah. This will be interesting. It is a loading scene/screen afterall and hopefully the PS3 can load the game pretty quickly. 


Another question. I am planning on downloading ME1 for my PS3, since I already have ME2 and ME3, there is little reason for me to buy the trilogy pack. But I am quite the noob when it comes to downloadeble games. So here is the question:

Is the digital version of ME1 going to be region locked?

I live in Denmark and my primary account is also danish. I have played the UK versions of ME2 and ME3 including its DLC's with my dansih psn account without any problems. But can I lock into my USA psn account and download ME1 and then have it working with my danish PSN account?

Because then I will be able to get the game way sooner!

Ok so I am just past the opening and everything looks pretty darn good! Things look pretty crisp to me haven't really noticed any frame rate issues but i also haven't been in a firefight yet so we will see lol! But so far so good!

Well from the disc it took about 10 minutes to install

Yep your missing the 5-6 hours wait untill the actual PSN store download is released in US.
5-6PM EST normaly but as bioware do things in PST thats 8PM PST when SCEA push the store update button.
