For those who are playing it, is there any texture popping and the waiting for the elevator on the Normandy to go down from the crew deck to the hanger bay where they store the MAKO is it a long time or very short. On the Xbox version, the waiting time it took to go down to the hanger bay was a bit long.

The only thing I'm waiting for this week is my copy of Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 2 Blu Ray & Far Cry 3. I'll get ME1 eventually but with finishing Omega last week I'm burnt out on ME.

PSN store usually updates around 4-5 PM EST. We've still got 4-5 hours to, just calm down people, lol

Just played past Eden Prime and everything looks good! A little issue with the Shepard's voice breaking into robotic clicking sounds at times. Maybe it's just my copy.

Shepard sounds like a Geth?

Sony has never, and never will update the Store early for any release. Ever.

Don't you register the codes for each under your profile on the left hand menu bar?  There's nothing for Mass Effect, but ME2 and ME3 for the PS3 are listed there.

Doubt it, I think the system tells it which PSN to download from. No way to change that.

This. If you have an American account with the right amount of money, you can buy stuff regardless of the region you're actually in. Buying something this way makes it incompatible with DLC purchased from your actual region's PSN store, however.

For example, you can buy a game from the American PSN store, but DLC purchased from the European PSN store won't work with it.

Interesting. But there really isn't any dlc for Mass Effect 1? Bring down the sky is included in the game right? At least in the digital version?

I have VISA so I would expect I could use that on a USA account just fine?

Yeah, I think you can do that. I just don't know if the US save file of the game will be compatible with the EU copy of ME2.

Exactly. It's very important that the games work together, so the save game can be tranferred. I have also emailed Bioware regarding this, but they haven't answered. :(

I hope they answer you. I wouldn't risk buying the game on the US store just to find out later that the save isn't compatible with ME2.
I have to wait until friday too, I know how you feel. We're all impatient.
