*sighs* 94 % after two hours but really it's my own fault for watching Netflix on my PS3 while downloading. LOL! Once I stopped watching Netflix things have gone much faster!

Did either of you two had problems with the first cutscene for ME1 for the PS3? I have basically reinstalled the game hoping that will fix it.

Mine is the disc version and I am not sure what is wrong

That really sucks that you keep having that problem. It sounds like you may have gotten a bad disk and may need to get a new one. My only other idea is that maybe the disk got scratched or smudged. Have you inspected the disk surface to see if there are scratches or smudges? Also I've had to clean my PS3 before to get my disks working right.

I tripled checked the disc and there were no scratches or anything.

So for us who purchased the Digital Version how do we register ME?

does the stand alone Mass effect 1 gets DLC included or just the trilogy bundle?

Currently I don't think there is a way, but I haven't gotten to that point yet (still downloading). I can't even get my PS3 version of digital ME2 to register, on this site. :(

Edit: Installing now!

Have to say that this whole experience is pretty bad.
EA decided to release a trilogy...in two parts. Who's the genius who thunk that one up?
If games are meant to be 'art', then that just tells you that EA didn't think that the first game was very important at all for the story...more important was to get your money for the sequels.
Now some genius thinks it was important to have the first part of the trilogy on PS3.
One of these geniuses should be sacked.
My two bobs worth...it was important to get the whole trilogy on PS3...duh...so sack the guy who thought it wasn't.
Thanks EA for stuffing me around like this.

QUESTION:

If you download ME1 off PSN in Australia, will your saves for that carry over into the next game?
It's annoying that I'll have to go through the grind of mining all over again in ME2 if the ME1 saves do carry over. And if they don't...who's the genius who thought that wouldn't be a good idea to have in the trilogy? And who's going to be genius who decides it is a good idea...in over 12 months time?

Once again, thankyou EA, from the heart of my bottom.

So I was 76% done with the download on the PS3 and then the download stopped for no reason. Do I have to start all over again now or I can I start from where I was?

I've only made it to the Citadel so far, but the only real issue I have to complain about is the voice audio frequently cutting out. Almost the entire scene at the Beacon was silent for me...

I never got the dialogue wheel from the start so i was basically stuck in the very cutscene

Ok I just tested it on a friends PS3 that is a bit newer than mine seeing how mine is from when they first came out and had the backwards compatible and it worked on his. So either I need a newer PS3 or just need to do a hard rest on my PS3

For real? Even the easy-decryption ones?

Also OT but later in the game you're going to want to have 100 omnigel on Noveria...So don't waste all your omnigel on unlocking crates.

Yes it is almost like the game isn't registering that I'm hitting the buttons.

Same. I had zero issues with the PC version of this mini-game, but I can't do this one to save my own ass!

Have you tried not having your thumb already set on a button?
