wow the digital copy of the trilogy is pretty expensive, the psn store has just been updated here and to dload the trilogy itll cost me $120. i bought the hard copy of the trilogy from a local website for $65. it just doesnt add up.

Games on PSN are usually more expensive, many are €69.99 on EU PS Store while being €10-15 cheaper at my local Gamestop... Plus the entire Trilogy is 36 GB, I'd spend months downloading it I guess as for some reason downloading from PSN is very slow and it's not my connection as I download games from Steam as well and it's very fast there.

This is the reason why I buy games on discs (whenever I have the option) and also because I don't have much HDD space left.

I'm just annoyed that EA won't release ME1 as a standalone disc. I wouldn't even mind if it was a limited release, I just hate the thought of buying 2 and 3 again and trying to resell them, especially when there's loads of them on Ebay for 99p...

Aren't EU and Oz PSN stores always updated together?

ME1 on PS3 three may or may not turn out to be a perfect port. I dont think anyones finished it yet. But as much as it pains me to do this i do give credit to bioware for doing whatever they had to to get the rights to release the first one from Microsoft. I dont know whether some of the legal aspects to the rights just expired or they bought it out. Either way they did it. So here's to hoping that any issues that come up with this one they can patch them pretty quick. Now fix the ending! Talk to Hideo Kojima! He knows how to send out a saga in an unforgettable and absolute triumph...

Downloaded it last night to my PS3 and played a bit before work this morning. Pleasantly surprised at the graphics and load times so far, but I'm still on Eden Prime.

Hi guys, I just bought the game on European PSN. Download is in progress but I am afraid that it will take around 13 hours.... I am a bit reluctant to let my PS3 running during so much time. Did someone already try such kind of thing?
Another stange thing: french admin of BSN say that there will not be any release of disc ME trilogy in France without any other explanation. Have you an idea of what happen?

Letting your  PS3 run that  long will be fine, i've had mine on for  3  days straight before.

I’ve been playing Mass Effect 3 on my PC for a while now and every time I get to the same point in the game it freezes up. Even if I start the game all over again, and make different decisions along the road, when I get to the same point toward the end of the game it freezes up. Then Windows throws me out of the game because of the problem.
This has been going on for months, what’s frustrating is that the game works perfectly until I get to this point. We are on our way in a Rover we hit something then we all get thrown out of the vehicle, then we hear General Hammer is saying, “Hammer Team, Go, Go, Go”.
Could a previous version of Mass Effect 3, be causing the problem? I believe that I made it to the end one time then when I started the game all over again, and added one of the updated add on packs it started happening.
I would appreciate any help.

It took me about 13 hours to download. I'm not too knowledgeable, but I think that's pretty slow. The PS3 held out though, I'll be playing tonight.

EDIT: I checked Amazon.fr and it seems PC & 360 copies of MET are available already. And Ryan Warden said France should get PS3 version on Friday: twitter.com/LesPaulDuJour/status/275676790641532928

Finally done, it took 5 1/2 hours to download, I guess that's not too bad, installing it now, can't wait!!!

Based on what other people said, if your ME2 is updated/patched already, it should give you an option to "Import ME1 save" or "Start New Male/Female Character" when you click "New Game".

Check it yourself. Put ME2 into your PS3, click New Game and see if you have Import ME1 Save option.

The only one I got is import ME2 Character... so i'm guessing my me2 does not have the patch. Where do you go get the patch?

From PSN? it should prompt you to update automatically when you put the disc in, is your PS3 online?
