 I have....more than once.

Wish they made it where you can level your squad at the same time. XD Nevertheless, I am loving this game.

Meant for this to be an edit and not a reply...oopps...:pinched:

I have Mass Effect on both the Xbox and the PC and the PS3 version is a great port. There is much less in the way of delays in textures loading and the frame rate is much higher than the old 360 version. I wish the 360 version had been updated for the trilogy as well since I like the controller much more on that console. Overall nice job on the port. I have also enjoyed reading of people shocked by the difficulty level. The first ME is more RPG so until you level up and increase your accuracy you'll struggle in a few encounters. Just make sure to do as many side missions as you can before tackling certain missions such as Noveria.

Actually the first ME1 has proper rpg gameplay where ,not-only-skill is required , ; stats are half the combat.
also in Me3 the game was rediculously easy  zero cooldowns whereas in ME1 EXCELLENT system you had to think to spend your cooldowns.

The thing that drives me crazy about Mass Effect 1 is the copy and paste side missions.

I can handle the crazy Mako, the dialogue options not actually being representative of what Shep says, and other faults.  But the side mission bases all looking the same is the reason why Mass Effect 1 is the worst of the three games.

That said, it is still better than the majority of the games out there.

I d rather have Mako and actually exploring than scanning in Me3 and delivering artifacts all the time.

Seems like this game is harder than the other 2, I'm struggling to stay alive on Normal.
ME1 that is.

Broke down and bought ME1. It's enjoyable but the gameplay is clunky compared to subsequent editions. Made the mistake of going after the Matriarch before improving various skills. But now that mission is complete, I'll be doing as many side quests before finding Liara etc.

My god the download took ages, but the worst part is the install, I'm currently on 88% and it's taken an hour so far.

Once you get better mods & weapons, it will be very easy. ME1 has reversed difficulty curve lol.

Nice. I gotta figure out a way to get the euro version of trilogy since the NA version doesnt have ME1 in a case.

So quick question, is there a way to stop Shepard from stumping around when he/she has a weapon drawn? So sick and tired of having the entire screen shake just because I dare to have a gun drawn and walk at the same time.

I am so glad they did this cause I couldn't play Mass Effect 1 since I didn't have an X Box 360 and I wasn't going to get one just for one game since I already owned 2 and 3 on the PS3.

As a resident of a European country, I am glad that we got Mass Effect in its own seperate case. Definitely happy about that! It seems that with the PlayStation 3, it's better to live in Europe than North America. Here, we get stuff in a much better way than you in North America, I think. Some full games (Warriors Orochi 3, One Piece: Pirate Warriors, Way of the Samurai 4 and Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires) are digital-only while Europe get nicely boxed versions.

I feel sorry for you sometimes... but at least PS3 is region free!

The elevator music in the elevator to Citadel Tower, haha so great XD

I get why it's not possible to take out your weapons in 2 and 3, but I wish it was possible to use the zoom like you do with the guns out in 1.
It's pretty weird that it was possible to take out your weapons in 1 and even shoot with it and not get a warning :P

You can zoom with your weapons in 2 and 3 just like in 1

F**kin' Mako! Damned thing handles like driving in a bouncy castle! And how many worlds HAVE Thresher Maws anyway?

They're on Antibaar, Chohe, Nepheron, Nonuel, Presrop, Xawin, Trebin and Edolus.

Pro tip: to get more XP from killing them, chip away at their health first while on the Mako. Then, once they have a sliver of health/armor left, get out of the Mako and finish it off with one of your weapons or powers (or both).

Finally got to play it and so far I'm very happy with the game's performance. I've only had a couple of issues but nothing major. Nothing at all like that guy from IGN was saying. It looks like you guys were right. :)

That said however, I'm only on the Citadel just before the council meeting.

I meant while you walk around on the Citadel and those kinds of hubs.
You don't have any guns on you when you walk around on Citadel in ME2 or ME3 and you can't zoom at stuff.
Of course I know you can zoom with them in battle, I've played ME2 9 times and ME3 5 times so xD

I don't understand all the hate the Mako gets. I think it's quite easy and fun to drive around and explore worlds in. It's really a shame that it have been removed from ME2 and 3. I like the variety it adds to the gameplay.

Here is a picture of me with the Mako.

Agreed took a wee while to get used to but I loved the Mako in ME1, took the Mako up to summit of the highest mountains in the game, looking forward to picking up the PS3 ME Trilogy :) have it on 360 but wanna get the ME2 DLC on disk :)

Missed the Mako in the other games but I did like the scanning as well tho.
