Hm... then where can I check how many items I have?
I've noticed it when it tells me I have 130 items and I need to do something about that. I haven't found how much is in there before hand.

So, Bioware, I've played the whole series -- including all ME2 and ME3 story DLC -- on PC, but I'm looking to switch to PS3. Any chance that, if I did get the ME trilogy, I could get a DLC discount for my long service?

Well ME1 bring down the sky is included on game, ME2 gives Kasumi, Overlord, LotSB on disc and Cerberus bonuses + genesis comic are free to new games. Also you bought 15$ omega cash hit n run? lol

Not getting any audio issues except for the occasional repeated line of dialogue.
Whenever a squadmate is on my ass I just press up to send them forward and the problem is resolved.
However twice now after the Possessed Saren battle my PS3 freezes at the loading screen. The framerate drops a lot during that battle as well. Anyone else having this issue?
Same here.
I just came to the forums to see if any one else was having this issue.

You only need to repurchase Arrival & the ME3 DLC, the rest of the story DLC is included.kogunenjou wrote...

Could it be that the inventory item limit was removed in the PS3 version? I can't seem to find the number of items I already have, and I should have gone over the limit (150? 175?) by now as well...
It's an interface performance issue. On the PC it's easy to raise the 150-item limit by editing an ini file. With 400-500 items, the merchant interface slowed to a crawl.

Sure I have. At this point I think I have been on most of the planets, and surveyed all the different stuff lying around. Sure sometimes a mountain is in the way, but if you diverge just slightly from the direct path, you will easyli find a way across all the mountains.
I've played ME1 a bunch but i just recently discovered elevation color code which makes navigating some of those uncharted worlds so much easier. I'm sure someone else has probebly figured it out already but light blue is high terrain and dark blue is low.

Does anyone else have problems with squadmates literally being on your ass?
Also, who else noticed that the mind-melding scene with Liara is missing?
I got the mind melding scene, but yes I've had the squadmates on your ass problem a few times.
I had the scene, but the audio was all screwed up.
Are we talking about the sex scene or the mind melding after the debriefing? I'm trying to score with Ashley, but I had mind melding with Liara after Therum and Ferox with no issues. Accept some of the texture wasn't loaded probably after Ferox, so I just waited untill it was done, and started talking when the game was done loading the textures.

Yes, I would give an example, but there seem to be a lot of first time ME1 players on this thread.KillerSnake616 wrote...
is it just me or are there times where the bass is way too high in ME1??
Like I said though, some scenes are much louder than others.

So, if I had ME2 before this trilogy and I had the DLCs like Arrival and LotSB on my other ME2 disk, when I put in the trilogy ME2 disk, will all the DLC be there when I start up the game?

How's the PS3 port compared to Xbox or Master Race? I was thinking about picking the trilogy on christmas so my mother can play it, but I'm not sure if it's worth the (almost) full price.
Aside from some audio problems and other universal issues that all three versions seem to carry, the port is pretty solid. A bit smoother performance wise than the 360 version. Even the Mako seems to handle better (don't know if this is just placebo or not though).
All in all I'd definitely recommend the PS3 version of the trilogy. It comes with most of the DLC of the first two games. So it's naturally the best deal.

I'm 12 hours in now and it's a very solid port (especially considering those are the same guys who ported DA:O to the PS3). Here are my observation when comparing it to the 360 version:
- I had maybe one line that should have been spoken but could not be heard (best put subtitles on)
- Framerate is better, mostly very good, no screen tearing, so I guess v-sync is enabled
- Loading times are better than ME3 on PS3
- Saving takes a while (longer than on 360) and can't be done in the background
- I think textures have a higher resolution, and only rarely pop in

It's not like BDTS is totally new and that it's totally unexpected given that it's been the same on PC and xBox. And btw there's an asteriod about to crash into a planet, so yeah, you might better do that in a timely fashion. But that's of course entirely BioWare's fault to not change something that has been no different on xBox or PC for all those years...

Why would you wait to do that one? It's a good chunk of exp, gives good Paragon/Renegade points, and it's the only Batarians we run into in the first game. It's actually next on my list before Noveria and the other two main class quests.

The only reason to wait until later in the game I can think of is that you can get some decent equipment there, especially the rewards for finishing the quest, an Omni-Tool or Human / Quarian armor (especially if you have Tali in your team, as Quarian armor is hard to come by), which scale with Shepard's level. So, if you get there on level 50 you might get one of the best Omni Tools in the game, a Savant X.

Yeah, even so, that's another $45. Not really willing to spend that, on top of the $60 for the trilogy, again.ChrisDV wrote...
