I do remember after completing Feros, my Shepard loaded into the conference room. I expected the Liara mind-reading scene to occur there with your crew all seated in those chairs... but, instead, Shepard just loaded into an empty comm room.

Has my years of drinking alcohol really destroyed my brain this badly or is something missing? Posted Image

I had the same glitch on my third playthrough (the first two were fine). Just an empty comm room instead of the usual debriefing.
After reloading a save from before the debriefing and mind-reading scene worked again.

Yeah, same glitch, same solution. Also, the Feros vision given to me by Shiala gave the full vision even though I hadn't completed Virmire yet.

After completing my first playthrough of ME1 on the PS3, I immediately started ME2 and imported the character. I always thought ME2 was a fantastic game, but now it's even better. All the characters like Shiala, Nassana Dantius, Conrad Verner, Gianna Parasini, Helena Blake etc. showing up in ME2 is simply fantastic.

My Mass Effect 1 notes thus far:

(I've played through the 360 version 15 or so times since 2007, this was my first time through on PS3, and I've never played on PC)

:) Way less screen tearing!
:o Way more consistent framerate!
:o Less than ten instances of texture pop-in over the course of the 17 hour game!
:) Voice clips for Medi-Gel application!
:) Zero funky shadow/clipping glitches!

---

:crying: Way, way, WAY longer Save/Load times (more than double in most cases, had to turn off autosave)
 Defaulting aiming/shooting to L2/R2 (thankfully reversible)
 No Comm Room debriefing after Feros???
:crying: Game locked up twice after the fight with Saren.  I reinstalled and made it through, but no music or voices played after the battle, only sound effects.  Game has since locked up on me once while trying to start a second play, and I haven't touched it since.

I'm taking my time going through ME on PS3. There are texture loading issues on the Citadel that are even worse than I remember on 360, and the occasional horizon flicker on off-world missions. Unfortunately, the flicker was happening while I was trying to target a missile turret in the distance as it was firing at me.

Not horrible, but not pristine.

Happened to me too but after I restarted the Game the sequence came so it must be some kind of Bug my advice save before you enter the Normandy after the Feros mission and Reload if there is no debriefing.

You people are blazing through the game. Granted it was my first ever playthrough of Mass Effect (and it will be the same for 2 and 3), but being the OCD explorer that I am, I completed the game in about 44 hours. I like taking my time, going to every place, exploring every nook and cranny. :)

No problems on my series playthrough yet. I'm going to play the third game next week with my Shepard, then I'll be done.

Yeah I beat Mass Effect three times and had this issue each time. After I beat Saren, the cinematic would go, and then the loading screen would freeze up. Each time I beat Saren. The only work around was to reload it immediately after it auto saved before the fight with Saren. I guess perhaps too much data builds up just playing through the outer Citadel areas up to the boss fight? But yeah that was only the real issue for me.

I absolutely loved being able to import little thing directly to ME2 and to ME3. Conrad Verner? That was awesome. I'm glad we PS3 users finally got to try out ME1 for all of its flaws.

Wow, I wsan't having problems until this last fight. Slide show FPS, almost stopped a couple of times. Lost sound then it came back. Then he killed me and I have to go through it again! I sure hope it lets me finish the game!

My notes of my first PT on PS3 after several on 360.

More constant frame rate.
Lip sync issues at the start of many convo scenes, but correct themselves after the first line is delivered.
3 audio cut outs.
No screen tearing and vastly improved texture pop ins.
The lighting is vastly improved as well.
1 freeze, had many more on 360.
The Mako is still awful.
Auto saves take like 2-3 seconds longer than 360.

Overall, very much the same game, edge goes to PS3 for me.

Well, I had to beat Saren twice. The first time, I got all the way past beating him, to where they find Shepard in the rubble and past, and then at the loading screen before the final scene at Citadel, it froze. HARD! I had to reload at the save right before the fight with Saren. Then it went all the way through. I was starting to worry I wouldn't be able to complete the game! Anyway, that and some lip synch probelms were the only ones i had, so I enjoyed the game. Now on to ME2!

Had those same issues to, hopefully a nice patch could fix those

Well, I finally finished the ME Trilogy. It was a long time coming, but... in the end... I just couldn't let anymore fighting continue between synthetics and organics. I did what my Shepard desired to do in the first place: coexisting peace.

Thank you, BioWare, for a wonderful experience. I'll never forget it, and I look forward to ME4

I just finished ME1 in the ME trilogy for ps3. I then put in ME2, started new game, and was NOT given the option to import my ME1 character. I went back and beat ME1 again, saw the save screen, put ME2 in again, still could not import my character. Why not?

Did you download the patch for ME2? The feature doesn't exist in the unpatched ME2.

I asked before and nobody answered, so I'll try again; How come the Shepard in made in ME2 (original, pre-trilogy release) and re-created in ME1 ends up with the default Jane Shepard facecode when I import her and all the decisions back to ME2 and ME3?

No I haven't. I drive a semi and I don't have internet access for my ps3 while on the road. I'll download it when I am home next. Thanks.

The Wiki says that on PS3, it will always be Liara no matter what you did in ME1

Sorry to some what change discussion direction but I have read through literally so many forum group topjcs and threads my eyes hurt. This IS a trilogy specific question though. Ok, I played ME1 years ago on Xbox with countless replays, so I know the game pretty well. I watched several game play throughs on UTUBE where in the very beginning if you have a male Shep you can somehow choose for Kaiden to step too close to the beacon, thus, Shep pulls him out of the way and sets up the whole LI option like it did with Ash in the original version of the game. There are key moments like waiting for Shep to wake up in the med bay, waiting in the mess area for Shep to come out, and the dialogue moment when Kaiden asks Shep if he/she "makes a habbit of getting that personal with everyone". You see what I am getting at?
After you import your game to ME2 it's Kaiden that shows up on Horizon and gives him a hug, etc., etc. Basically, Kaiden is put in Ash's role like in the original version. I have tried every angle I know but he just stays casual. I wanted to find out if anyone else has run into this and has any advice. It may be that the option only exsists on PC version. There have been other content that was a PC only thing before and I didn't know if this was one. On a side note, I am playing on a PS3 and originally downloaded the digital of ME1 and it was awful, I purchased the disc set finally and glad I did. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Apparently  Bioware had planned to include gay romance options for ME1 (dialoge still in the game files) but never finished them and deactivated them in the final game.
On PC you can enable them, but on PS3 I'm afraid there's no way.
