Unfortunately no. The only way we can get a disk copy of ME1 is to buy the 3 pack.

On another note, does anyone remember that site where you'd enter your facecode from ME2/3 and it'd give you the sliders to create it in ME1?

I have a fat 80GB PS3 that only has 1GB of free space left. As much as I want ME1 on a disc I don't want to throw 60 bucks down the toilet to do so.

Honestly I never even beat ME1 on PC so trophies would be a huge incentive for me to buy it off of the PS Store and replay from scratch.

Call me crazy, but I don't think 1GB is gonna be enough space for ME1.

Ryan Warden has said on Twitter that ME1 will be 8GB for the US version and 11GB for the European version, probably because the US version is not multilingual.

From what I've been able to gather, the graphics will be largely the same, but with various small fixes provided through utilizing the PS3 ME2 engine. (Texture-popping and the like, etc.)

P.S. I don't believe ME1 will be using the actual PS3 ME2 engine, but I don't have enough evidence on that.

So I just ordered my copy of the Trilogy ! I was talking with my friends about it telling them how great the series was/is , we were laughing about it and stuff. When I stopped dead in the middle of a sentence and said "Oh god the Mako!!" . We all laughed for a while after that Gah three weeks Can't wait!!

Can someone who has twitter ask him if that means that the US version will only be available in english?  All Mass Effect games (including 1 for Xbox 360) have been released in french and spanish (though only subs for spanish) in North America and it would be weird for them to only provide an english version when both ME2 and ME3 for PS3 are available in french and spanish in NA (I think even italian and german also).

8gbs... there goes my DLC for DA:O...  I hope the game has ME2/3's controls cuz ME1 was some what clunky when going from 2 and 3 back to 1 on PC lol anyone know what the PSN price will be hope its 20 or less?  hope less

If Bioware converted ME2/3 controls to ME1: Late 2013 would be the release date instead of early Dec.

Personally, I'm looking forward to those "clunky" controls simply because I want to experience them for myself

i've waited for the first mass effect for ps3 for over 2 years now. Never owned a pc capable of running it, and i gave up on xbox after the two i've owned crapped out on me before i got to finish. So, yay!

$14.99 isn't bad =) even if they don't change the controlls around its worth it PS3 has been waiting for ever for it lol! I wonder if they will patch ME2 on PS3 to find ME1 saves as it only shows new game and Imported ME2 save! Within this patch maybe hope for video/audo sync for ME2 cutscenes hehe

They confirmed they will. Patch should drop beginning of December (2012 ).

For ME2 and 3, it sounds like they are no different from the standalone retail version, i.e. 2 still comes with DLC like Kasumi and Shadow Broker on disc with a code for the Cerberus Network pack which you do download and that includes Zaeed and whatever else it was. For 3, you get the online pass. For 1, I think we get the "Bring Down The Sky" DLC on disc.

For ME2, the only DLC that isn't included is Arrival. ME1 comes with BDTS. Pinnacle Station (the other of the two DLCs for ME1) will never be released on PS3, although you're not missing out on anything, as it's basically a shooting range to try out your weapons and powers. If you're really into that, just play ME3 multiplayer, much more fun:)
