Aaaah, this thread made me want to go back and play Baldur's Gate 2 again... I think Edwin and Minsc was one such duo that would almost kill each other if they were in the same party. Also, I believe Aerie would try to kill Korgan Bloodaxe, or at least thretened to leave if you didn't kick him out of the party. I also believe Anomen could go mad and attack/duel Keldorn if he failed his knighthood-test.
So many possibilities. That is what I miss in today's RPGs.
