One of the biggest mysteris in DA:Universe is the Architect, Corypheus and the Blight. Even with the events not being cannon at all, it's extremely possible that we'll see Corypheus in DA: 3. If you killed Mother and the Architect, probably you won't hear about them. But alot of darkspawn instead. Since the dead of those two generals accelerate the Blight.

I searching and I can conclude that we'll be seing at least Corypheus. Why? He was lying about his amnesia. He was fighting his prision and wanted to scape for unknown reasons. Anyway, since Corypheus is loyal to the Old Gods, he'll surely will want to start another Blight by gathering Darkspawn.

With the Chantry weakness state and the mage-templar war, a Qunari army coming from Par Vollen, Flesh Golems invading from underground, army's of demons summoned by blood mages. Corypheus could use this part of humanity fragility to destroy the Wardens and dominate Thedas afterwards.

The Wardens are also surely worried with something. During the Act 2 (DA:2) Stroud or Alistar depeending on the player's choice will say about an extremely important business the Wardens needs to attend to. Why the hell would the Wardens duscuss politics with the Chantry during the war? That doesn't make sense. It must have to do with the Darkspawn for sure.

Wait, what events weren't canon? Legacy was canon.

I think there are two big options:

1. The Darkspawn/Old Gods are somehow connected to the events of the Orlesian Civil War and the Templar/Mage conflict. I don't see how, but I can't see inside the writers' heads. (And thank the Maker for that).

2. We'll get even more hints in DA3 about some rising Darkspawn/Old God threat, which will be the plot of DA4.

I have a theory about the Architect and other similar darkspawn. They used to be Grey Wardens. They went to their calling, but instead of fighting to the death or succumbing to the taint some of them underwent some form of metamorphosis. That's why the Architect doesn't really know how he came to be as he is, why he's different. And they're smarter than other darkspawn because they started out as people (human, elf, etc.) instead of darkspawn.
Maybe that's what the Wardens are worried about. Maybe the metamorphosis is related to the red lyrium.

I'm not sure Cory was lying about amnesia .
Even the Architect couldn't remember how he came to be.
The wardens do get turned into some kind of ghoul , if they are not killed during their calling.
I think female wardens turn into broodmothers.

I can understand the chantry and grey wardens clashing because to fight the blight they need to know the truth about the dark city , the taint etc...
I'm not sure the chant of light is 100% accurate about what happened , or the how or why.
Maybe older version of the chant exists and do tell another story , maybe not.

If there's really a breach in the fade , Cory might be the one behind it.
Afterall , he did the impossible back in the old days , and he still wants the "light" .
Whatever that supposed to mean.

I don't know Corypheus did seem pretty confused. I'd like to hear more about him though, especially the part about how Dumat knew how to get into the Golden City, and how Corypheus seemed to imply that the city was black before they arrived. Maybe the Old Gods got there first? Or perhaps the Black City is something completely different than anyone in Thedas thinks....

I support this.  I want to know more about the sexy red lyrium.

I also want to know if the Mother is of typical appearance for a human Broodmother, or whether she was even furthur twisted by the Architect, with those creepy...spider legs?...and the face that came apart.

We'll. What makes me thing Corypheus was lying is the phrase:

"if i can't leave with you, i'm leaving trough you."

Corypheus knew Hawke was the Champion and posses him would have extremely big consequences.

I really think the Golden City was always Black. To me, the Maker is nothing more than an extremely powerfull benevolent spirit that contacted Andraste. The demons says they won't go to the Black City do to i'ts dangers.

EDIT: Just read on wikia. I'ts trully possible that Corypheus was the founder of the Tevinter Imperium "
Archon Thalsian " and the first Blood mage?

Strongly agree.

Flemeth and Corypheus are on a whole different level as sheer power and scheming ability than any other threat that theadas faced in the dragon age.

In both DA and DA2 we were feed with numerous clues that something really big, dangerous and  well hidden from theadas' main source of power is happening and i doubt that in DA3 we will learn something major about this conspiracy if not in the closure of the game.

Why would Corypheus, who is loyal to the Old Gods, who got turned into zombie dragons by the darkspawn want to start any kind of Blight? It's not HIS Gods anymore. If anything he might try to reverse the process, or god forbid that he finds out about the OGB. But he also sounded betrayed by the Old Gods so he might do none of the above and chill on a beach somewhere in Antiva (does Antiva have beaches?).

Lulzies I totally forgot Corypheus was darkspawn. Is he darkspawn? Well even if he is he seems sentient like the Architecht so he still might decide to chill on a beach in Antiva (or some other place that is allocated nearby a large body of salt water).

Corypheus is darkspawn as much as a human is an ape.

Corypheus was one of the old magisters who entered the Golden City and became one of the first darkspawn.

I think he might've meant that like Coryheus is still part of darkspawn just totally way more advanced. His analogy would be wrong though since humans were technically never apes we just evolved alongside them. OR he might've meant they're completely different things in which case I would have said 'Corypheus is darkspawn as much as a human is an toaster/umbrella/narwhal/goat/aglet/whale/sasquatch/boomerang/microwave/tectonic plate/Cthulu/star child/potato" etc.

Yeah bad analogy but i see that you got it.

You can label Corypheus as darkspawn but that's it, there are a lot of missing links between him and genlonck or hurlocks .

Or maybe the architect is the darkspawn caste that serve as link between archdeamon and alphas.

The Architect. The Conductor (which is the english word for Corypheus). DOn't tell me you don't see that connection. It is my theory that the Architect is another of the original Darkspawn ie. another of the Magisters who entered the Golden City.

No he isn't, you have to read the "The calling" but i assure you that the architect isn't one of the magister.

They are manipulators. When Corypheus and The Architect entered the Black City they unleashed the Old Gods into our world and becamed slaves to their will. They aren't human anymore. The Old Gods may be nothing more than extremely powerfull shapfiting demons who wants to take over our world just like any other demon.

The Architect just wanted to be free from the Old Gods will, but Corypheus dind't. It's possible that Corypheus was the first Imperial Archon of the world, since he was extremely loyal to Dumat (said to have teached humans Blood Magic).

Btw, if you bring Anders to Legacy DLC, he will confirm Corypheus was one of the Magister's and that the tales of the Golden City were real.

Can we just kill Flemeth already... for good

Flemeth is a godess. She can kill any hero when she wants. But she is a force of change, so she would not.

For some reason I think that the architect is the result of a pregnant woman, carrying twins, that was turned by the darkspawn- he has a some sort of "twin" structure attached to his face. Methinks a woman carrying twins was attacked by the Darkspawn- one of the babies lived, sort of.

Ok ... that's kind of scary. But it would explain, why he doesn't know, how he came into existence.
