I am often amazed by the bizarre pet causes people adopt around here. I blame the paint fumes.
That's not true, talking banana.
Besides, the single greatest addition to DA3 would be A GHAST COMPANION!!! GHASTS, U GAIYZ!!!

Surely a Dwarven fan would not find fault with this? The Dwarves of Orzimmar have good relations with Avvar tribes.
I didn't say I had a problem with it. I just find it pretty random...

Wouldn't the Avvars all be ghasts by now anyways? The ones that weren't absorbed into the modern Thedan cultures that is.
The Avvars, like the Chisand, are still kicking on the fringes of society.

Too much chantry/mage nonsense. It's a good quarrel, but should not be the strict focus of this game. More variety yo. Not that we know that's the main focus, but we don't know that it isn't either. Unless I missed a memo... which I wouldn't be surprised at, at all.
I seem to remember hearing that there's something going on in the background that ends up being the main focus, though I don't remember who I heard it from. I seem to recall that I found it credible, though really it may not be.

i would think a ghast would be cool for a companion if they didn't smell so bad.
No worse than a mabari.

well a dog is suppose to smell like a dog if smelled like perfume he would probably be to concerned with personal hygiene to get the job done, And as for the ghasts they are that color for a reason and i'll leave it at that.

"Permanence is a foreign concept to the Avvars. Nothing in the Frostbacks stays the same forever, and nothing in Avvar life is permanent either. Avvar settlements are temporary; their agreements are temporary; even their marriages are temporary. When two Avvars get married, during the ceremony the bride will sing a hymn to a select god while the groom attempts to undo a series of knots in a long rope. The number of knots the groom manages to undo will determine the years that the marriage will last.
Although often referred to as a single entity, the Avvars are actually groups of small tribes who operate independently of each other. The only unifying concepts that the Avvars share are their beliefs and culture. The Avvars still worship their old gods, the three dominant ones being Korth the Mountain-Father, Hakkon Wintersbreath, and The Lady of the Skies. They also worship many lesser unknown animal gods similarly to the way in which the Dalish venerate the Halla. "
Also, I don't care what anyone says; Welsh Merrill's voice was way better.
