So you just want the gun to be...

black and yellow black and yellow black and yellow black and yellow

Anyway, the design isn't really that bad. I don't much like the shade of yellow they used, and I think it could be balanced better, but it's not awful.

harrier in Nutshell
Cerby 1: hey take a look, new mattock weapon it called Harrier, let's kick some alliance ass!!!

Cerby 2: Why the hell the color like this, while the other weapon just like standard looking?

Cerby 1: maybe they want cool looking color? dunno

Cerby:2: It will be the most idiotic reason that's i've ever seen in the galaxy. Even the Alliance and other alien scum will laugh about this, this is not Galaxy of fantasy.

I was hoping to see a legitimate thread that explained the guns legitimate shortcomings.

Sure this weapon has great all-around stats, mainly RoF, accuracy, and DPS, but there is one thing that makes it unworthy of using.

It's atrocious color scheme:

White over black is such a fashion disaster. The two colors completely clash against each other and is an eyesore. The gun looks like someone took the top half of one gun and the bottom half of another, and glued them together to get this ugly gun. It would have been better if the top of the gun was fully black, leaving the yellow stripes and adding more to make it look more sleek and stylish.

Or better yet, make it look lke an actual cerberus beast, like this:

I mean how cool is that. If the gun does not get the shape, the Cerberus Harrier could at least adopt a similar color scheme as that beast.

Make any of these suggestions reality and maybe I will consider the Cerberus Harrier as a worthy weapon.

That's so cool! Posted Image Do you have anymore like this?

Small nitpick, most N7 stuff has light blue lights instead of red, though since some have red it's not really wrong.

I don't remember any Cerberus unit using it in either ME2 and ME3.

Forgot about the Phalanx equipping the Combat Engineers though, which doesn't use that color scheme. Thanks for ruining my theory BW :crying:

It is Cerberus, even though we don't see them using it, and the Phalanx is the Alliance standard issue pistol, so it uses Alliance colours.

Why Cerberus Engineers use it, I'm not sure. I do remember seeing early development pics of ME3 where Engineers used Eviscerators, so I guess it was a late weapon change for gameplay over faction weapons. Like the Javelin being relabelled as a Geth weapon. What I was really surprised by, was that they didn't give them to Dragoons, and gave them Hornets, which are already used by Troopers, instead. And not giving Centurions Harriers after it came out, even just a model replacement so it wouldn't affect gameplay.

Look, full Cerberus colours.
