I'm not actually sure what to do with DA2. I've a mage Hawke that rivalmanced Fenris that I'm quite fond of, but I imported my Amell Warden for him, so I might use him as a sort of secondary canon -- like my Amell -- instead of playing him again with another import. But if I do that, I'd rather not have another mage Hawke who romanced Fenris as my primary canon...

I've also a warrior Hawke I quite like -- aggressive/diplomatic, romanced Merrill, incredibly proMage (and yet has Fenris as his drinking buddy...), sided with Petrice purely because he hates the Qunari so much for their treatment of mages -- but I still have to finish that playthrough.

My canon is a timid City Elf, who prefer to not fight, and hate the nobles of every races. Dalish too. But she is good to her companion, because in the Alienage she has learned that family and friends are what she need to survive.

She saved both Cannor and Isolde, but only to give Jowan a way to redeem himself, if not, she would have just let isolde die, because she hate her, and always let her know.
she saved the circle, helped all his companions.
she was very disappointed by the Dalish, for how they treated her, but choose to free the wherewolfes convincing Zatharian to die. That's why always treated bad Velanna in DA:A.

She couldn't tollerate the noble Dwarfs, so she helped Behelen, and, just beacuse she couldn't stand, Branka, killed her and destroied the Anvil.

In Vigil's Keep, she didn't drink the potion, but let Avernus continue is study, but he better non try other horrible thing. Always better than hel a deamon, I guess.

She killed all the slavers in Denerim, without even try to convince them to retreat.

Slowly, she romanced Alistair, but without knowing, she has started one with Leliana, She chooses Alistair. But let Margiorane live.

She supported Anora, so she didn't batrayed her at the landsmeet, and let Alistair kill Loghain. for the Wardens, for the people of the Alienage, and for Caillan. Alistair remained a Greay Warden. Nobles have takena away from her her husband, so she take away from them their king. So Anora rule Ferelden.

She accepted Morrigan's ritual, Alistair was not happy, but he accepted.

in the and, she made Shianni arle of the Alienange, and decide to travel, with Zevran, Alistair (after he goes to make Duncan's tomb) and the dog to stan's land.

In Awakenig, she sided with the Architect, and saved Amaranthine. Anders, Oghren and Nathaniel survive.

In Witch Hunt, she just saluted Morrigan, not stabbed her. She is like the arrogant sister. And I like her character, so no need to do that.

I haven't a canon for DA2. just one playthrought, with F/Hawke rogue, Bethany in the Circle, Dalish all dead, sided with the mages, friend with all, Anders as LI, and not killed, and a very hangry Sebastian (who care!)

-Saved Connor ( only one human she saved, becouse it was a kid), destroyed Anvil, Branka is dead, werewolves are dead, curse is still active, killed Loghain, Anora is a queen ( I still don't understand why they asked elf about who should be a Queen/King), lied Morrigan about Flemeth dead, refuse Dark Ritual, Alistair is dead, Morrigan is stabbed, Nathaniel Hawke is dead, Anders should be dead ( but BioWare needed him for DA2), city from Awakening ( forgot the name) is destroyed, sided with Architect,
Don't care too much about DA2 story, but my Hawke ( female assassin) sided with Mages, gave Isabela to Arishock, gave Fenris to Danarius ( or whatever his name was...regret this decision later becouse payment for this act wasn't spectacular) all her familly died in a game ( didn't care about them tbh), Anders finally is dead too...

Hm...is it bad that I don't really have a canon? I feel the same for the ME franchise. There are some decisions that I gravitate to more than others, but I don't have a 'canon' character race/background.

I just have several playthroughs where I try and do things at least a bit different each time.

Pro-Mage Playthrough:
DAO: Male Human Mage. Mostly good-guy, pro-mage. Romance Morrigan. Perform Dark Rit. A+A ruling, Loghain GW.
DA2: Male Mage. Romance Merril. Side with Mages.

Kill 'em All Playthrough:
DAO: Female City Elf Rogue. Kill all companions when give opportunity. Anora rules. Alistair sac'd to Archdemon.
DA2: Male Warrior: Kill/Enslave all companions when possible. Side with Templar.

-> Accepted the Architect's help (couldn't refuse a chance to stop the blights once and for all).

DA2

-> Male Hawke, Mage. Bethany dies.
-> Carver becomes a warden.

My cannon (which to me is just the first) playthrough:

Dalish Elf Warden convinced Alistair to do the Dark Ritual so they could both live on, with him as King and her as his mistress. While Warden Commander she lived by the model of "what would Alistair want me to do?" because otherwise she would have just killed everyone cos she was horribly resentful or having to be Warden Commander since she never wanted to be a Warden in the first place. So she saved Amaranthine and killed the Architect. She's also the Chancellor to the throne, and went after Morrigan with the intent of killing the god baby, but ended up just having a chat and not feeling any better about the situation..

Hawke was an apostate mage who just wanted to live a happy life. She had the hots for Fenris, but Anders approached her first so she slept with him, and they moved in together. Ended up actually loving Anders, but always regretted not having a chance with Fenris..sigh. Isabella betrayed her, and Hawke had to kill the Arishok to save the city, even though she didn't particularly think he was in the wrong. Wanted to kill Tallis because she hated being lied to and used. Was shocked Anders blew up the Chantry, but eventually came to understand and agree with his decision. Fought for the mages in Kirkwall, and then ran off to be mage freedom fighters/fugitives with Anders.

Though I have 3 other complete playthroughs at this point that are possibly more interesting than my cannon, especially the promiscuous man Warden/Hawke playthrough...

- Romanced Alistair (who rules Ferelden Alone)
-Sided With Mages, used them to save Conner and Isolde
-Cured the Werewolves and Saved the Elves
-Sided with Bhelen and Caradin
-Killed Loghain
-Defied the Cult of Andraste
-Killed Flemeth
-Jowan alive
- All Companions alive, Zevran jealous of Alistair
-Did the Dark Ritual
-Saved the Alienage
-Haven't Played Awakening Yet, but plan to bring Ogrehn, Nathaniel, and Either Sigrun or Velanna to final battle.
-Let Morrigan Walk into the Eluvian
- Chose a statue for the Wardens because Mage Ending is bugged (or so I hear) and I play on Xbox 360, I am such a console gaming peasant!

-More middle of the Road, a mix of Pro-Templar and Pro-Mage Dialogue (She thinks mages are being treated badly and hates the Kirwall Circle, but understand the need to train mages and protect mages from the public and demons.)

- Friends are Fenris, Aveline, Varric, and Sebastian
(Because she basically tells Sebastian to do what he thinks is best.)
-Rivals are Carver, Isabela, Merrill, and Anders

- Doesn't kill Anders, but sends him away (And tells him to GTFO when he shows up again)
-Lose Sebastian because of Above Decision
-Defeat the Arishok
-Varric Didn't kill Bartrand

My other 3 Canons have just started, so I can't really say much about them or what decision will be made...except...

2. "The Legacy of the Dales"
Female Dalish Elf Rogue in DA:O who romances Alistair, Male Rogue Hawke with a Diplomatic Personality who Rivalmances Merrill. Very similar to Amell playthough, except decisions in Awakening will probably be what differs the most. Bethany is a Circle Mage.

3. "Rise of the Outcasts"
Female Dwarf Commoner Warrior who, again, romances Alistair ( not really a fan of Zev. as a romance option. But still a great character.), Female Warrior Hawke with Sarcastic Personality who romances....*drumroll*... nobody! Bethany is a Grey Warden. Will have Alistair and Anora rule jointly in this playthrough.

4. "Legends are Made not Born"
Male Elf Mage who romances Leliana, makes Alistair and Anora rule jointly. Female Mage Hawke who romances nobody and Carver is a Templar.

It's a work in Progress. I hope to share my DA3 characters for these continuations as well at some point in the future.

I will also have a "Let's Play" Continuation featuring a Dwarf Commoner Warrior and a Female Mage Hawke. (As you may have noticed, I like to play mages, usually female because I am one.)

Umm because DAO and DA2 could be linked by blood/family I'll pick Female warden Amell, saved Connor and his family, Jowan is back to the Circle,werewolf cured, killed Loghain, Bhelen rules, all the companions survived, the anvil destroyed, did the ritual and is King Alistair mistress.
DA2 Fem mage hawke, Carver templar, Anders is LI, sided with mages, feynriel is in tevinter.

IF DA3 Hero is related to one of the warden's then I'll import that saved game. Of course this is sketchy atm, if DA3 hero is to be an inquisitor no matter what then.. I'll pass and wait for DA4 and "hopefully" will be a bigger world and were we are allow to roleplay as Humans, elves and dwarves.

Can't wait to have a Thedas were all the heros are elves meh I am dreaming

More than one playthrough means I don't really have anything resembling a preferred canon. In one playthrough my Warden was a female Dalish Elf rogue, I sided with the elves, supported Harrowmont, destroyed the Anvil of the Void, saved the Circle, backed Alistair as King with Anora as his Queen in a purely political marriage, romanced Zevran, performed the Dark Ritual, and accidentally missed Sten completely, not realizing he existed until playthrough number two.

My choices differed in my other playthroughs. I played a male Cousland warrior who romanced Leliana and sacrificed himself to stop the Blight. Another time I played an Aeducan Male warrior who romanced Zevran and sacrificed Loghain to end the Blight. I just transferred a Warden into Awakening who is a male human mage who romanced Morrigan, went ahead with the Rite of Annulment, defiled the Sacred Ashes, supported Anora as Queen and sole ruler of Ferelden, sacrificed Alistair, and I fully intend to have my Warden side with the Architect in the final battle against the Mother.

I only have one full playthrough of DA 2, a male warrior Hawke linked to the Dalish female rogue who started off putting the moves on Isabela but had a proper romance with Merrill; Bethany lived, Merrill's people all died, I killed Anders for commiting an act of terrorism, but sided with the mages. Other Hawkes are still part of playthroughs-in-progress.

I still have low-level characters in DA:O that I intend to one day transfer over into DA 2 (yeah, I'm not a DA 2 hater; I think it's flawed but not without its charm) after  and eventually into DA 3, after I get around to finishing those playthroughs.

I think you can see where I'm going with this. I'm all about variety. I will be transferring my Dalish rogue (Vaella)/ Magnus Hawke save file first since both characters were first playthroughs; I plan to play a mage and I'm literally going to flip a coin to decide the gender of my first DA III character.
