I leave because:
Lagged like a **** and still had to carry the team.
Lagged like a **** and the team failed
Lagged like a ****
Idiot had a fan on the mic.
I mostly quit when I lag a lot.
Do you ever feel bad about leaving a lobby?

In your situation, at best (worst?) I would feel a little bad that I don't fee bad for leaving their lobby. Seriously, being the best player on a bad team is more annoying that 300ms lag. God help you if you've got both to deal with.
Last night my 2grenade kroldier w/ eviscerator* carried a team to wave 9 before a banshee warp chased me down through two buildings. They drop 30 seconds later. 32minutes, 100k/30k/20k15k. I couldn't leave that lobby fast enough.

I just failed a Gold match on wave 9... should have left the match on wave 2 or so because the other players were so horrible. That would have saved me alot of time. If you have 100k and 15 revives by the end of wave 7 in a 4 man lobby you just know something isn't right.
I usually never leave a match because I would feel bad, thats what I get for being nice. At least it was comedy seing 2 Infiltrators trying to kill 1 Banshee and didn't get it done.

I feel bad that they have to sit through host migration, but then I remember they deserve it for making me work too hard the last match.

In my mentality, leave the lobby if you're carrying the team... without looking back.

I don't feel bad for leaving after a match completes. I'd never leave during a match no matter how bad my teammates were. The only times I've ever left is like when power went down or I got disconnected.

I don't feel bad. I shouldn't have to be the one who carries the team. I'm not that good, they're just that bad.

Not at all. If they keep failing then maybe they'll get the idea that they aren't ready for gold.

Don't feel guilty it's just a game and every gamer knows this. If you gotta carry a team cuz you're skilled then feel good about it. You'd save some gamers time and they learn from you in return. I realize sometimes that some randoms play for medigels and they really don't have any.
The only time I leave a lobby is when I get servers down, so not my fault.
My experience is really different. Since I host mostly, my squad mates just medigel every time they fall even just right beside and it feels like WTH I am right here, keep those drugs for the later waves and I felt so sorry since see gels are expensive

Hell 2 Da No! I'm a "One and Done" type player. I don't care how good or bad the game was, I'm leaving at the end of it.

Feel bad... huh? What's that?
I think I might have felt bad once when I hit a dog with my car... but then I reminded myself that the dumb SOB walked right in front of me.
Seriously... I never feel bad about leaving a group. If they are nice/cool people, I say "Goodbye/Good Game" and leave with a clear mind.

You're not the only one whose said this... I'd like to know why you feel that way. I'm not trying to judge you or anything like that... I'd just like to know your rationale for leaving a good team to go play with PUGs again.

Yesterday I played a few silver pug matches against reaper at FBGhost for completing my Halloween challenge. I'm hosting and I played N7Slayer.
The matches went very well since I used consumables, The people I played with are stingy at the first time, won't use med-gels when downed or missile when needed.
And there's once I used 5 missile on wave 10 escort objective.
But I don't care because I still have 200+ missiles to waste. And I med-gels when It seems that my teammates won't revive me.
Then on the later matches they start to use consumables and missiles.
Regardless I feel good because all the matches are ended with successful extraction and I completed my Halloween challenge.
But I feel bad when I have to leave the match. Because even if they're stingy they are still good players.

Sometimes, if I'm playing with a low skill team who is genuinely trying.
But not often. Real life is more important.

Honestly, never. My more typical reaction is irritation that they are playing difficulties beyond their skill levels.

Not really. If they can't survive without me they shouldn't be playing Gold in the first place.
I feel the same as the above.
I earned my stripes in bronze and silver instead of asking to be carried. I don't feel guilty expecting the same from everyone else.

I do feel bad this one time during a PUG Rio/Silver/Cerberus. The game wasn't really bad, just 2 people kept dying, not medigelling. The other player was pretty good, he revived and medigelled and used rockets. I thanked him after a revive and that started a few awkward word exchanges.
It was stressful for a Silver game, burned a few consumables (which I normally don't). At the lobby he said the game went well and we worked as a team, not bad for a bunch of strangers. Ummm, I didn't think so. So I left the lobby. Felt a bit awful to abandon the obviously team-spirited guy to the mercy of PUGs.

Oh besides lag I normally don't quit many teams(unless I want to play U/U and the host has other settings) and only leave bad teams if they refuse to use consumables when **** hits the fan.
If the team is using equipment (level 3 or 4 stuff) and go wild with missiles on wave 10, then I don't mind to carry the team because I use level 1 and 2 equipment for gold AT best and they could ask more of me and they don't.

I have, but in total reverse to your story.
I feel bad when a PUG group goes really well, then a good friend sends me a game invite and I hop out of the lobby immediately after the match. I try and make a point to message them that they were a really awesome team and I wasn't leaving in horror, but rather because I wanted to join a friend's room.
