I have, but in total reverse to your story.

I feel bad when a PUG group goes really well, then a good friend sends me a game invite and I hop out of the lobby immediately after the match. I try and make a point to message them that they were a really awesome team and I wasn't leaving in horror, but rather because I wanted to join a friend's room.

You're waaaay too nice a person Dragon, I wouldn't be bothered to that myself ever.

I keep to myself and I'm usually leaving lobbys regardless of how good it went, unless I'm doing a challenge I'm not fond of.. Like reckoning mastery... The collector.... Ew. And I will NOT play the juggy.

Considering that the majority of the time I get that stupid "Waiting for other players" screen I don't really have a choice.

I'm seeing a pattern... :P

OT: I don't ever recall feeling bad about leaving a lobby, but I will often fire off a congratulatory message if someone did really well, or I liked their playstyle.

I never feel bad, and I even leave mid game if I have to burn through too much gel too fast. It only pisses me off that I just wasted both time and good consumables on only getting through 6 waves with those a**h****. 4 gel a match is acceptable if it's like collectors or geth (I get f***** over by stunlock). 4 gel for one objective with reapers is where I want to kick their puppies.

You would be correct! Lol

That will always be my trademark first response to any necro thread.

Nope, no guilt, only irritations and slight butthurt about burning through so much medigel and rockets.
It's just isn't fair, that you're trying to play superman, spending consumables and they just "lol-nope-i-wont-medigel".

If by wave 3 this happens. Either leave or troll the lobby. It's funny when the assassinations come up and everyone has died, you just kite the target for 2 minutes or pick up the pizza and go grab food. No free credits for the leechers.

It's a bad sign in a game when this becomes justifiable.

yeah there was this one time on ghost where I distinctly felt what the OP means...

and the only other time was when I hosted a bronze game when reckoning came out.
Awww all the cute n7 13's staying despite me having killed off basically everything... >.<

if I know they tried hard and only pulled through because of my amazing awesomeness, then perhaps.

otherwise, no. I leave the scum to rot.

I feel bad for kicking them or telling them to GTFO.

Seriously, nope. Even good lobbies are revolving doors.

only if i notice a bsner was in there but i left because of my unshakable no equipment policy, of course the bsner always has it.
Its easier than kicking because these forums prove people take it personally.

necro thread? anyway, I did that once, I actually left mid game cause i lost interest in playing in that game, and i was hosting, so i was half hoping that with full health and consumables they might fare better and finish the last couple of waves.

So i left, switched a bunch of stuff, and searched for another total random game, and as it happened i got joined back in to my own game i just left a moment ago. So i dragged my team through the game anyway. It's probably fate. But I left the lobby afterward.

I don't get it why don't they just lock all the threads that have been inactive for 5+ months?

Naw. I sometimes feel bad when I have to leave a good team after a couple of matches because of RL or whatever.

Or worse still, you drop in a great lobby where everything just clicks - you revive each other, watch each other's back, use consumables, noone is scorehogging, all that - the game goes super smooth, you're looking forward to playing more with them - and after you go back to the lobby, everyone just... leaves.

And you're like: GUYS WAIT! WE WERE GOOD TOGETHER! DON'T LEAVE ME, LET'S PLAY SOME MORE! GUYS!!!!

But you're already alone in the lobby :crying::crying::crying:
