I'm getting to the point where power creep cheapness is killing some of the mood when playing. How many of you have had a banshee launch a snowball at you and have it do a complete 360 travel arc? Doing a solo run on London I had one do that to me earlier. Got her stopped on the far right ramp and was shooting happily away when she decided to throw a miracle ball at me. No problem, I'll just run around to the stairs and start shooting her from above and behind. Nice plan except the snowball traversed the exact same path and hit me in the back. Yes it rounded third and made a home run. WTF?

Bioware, why? There has to be a better routine then this to up the challenge of games. Getting whacked by enemy weaponry that has the uncanny ability to chase you in a complete circle is ridiculous. Some of this AI crap is getting frustrating.

I don't think that's power creep. Banshee warps have always done weird things.

Enemy powers and projectiles have truly ridiculous tracking sometimes.

Atlas rockets and Banshee warps are the honorable mention.

It is power creep because it works on both the AI and the player. I have never, and I mean never, seen a snowball round four corners ever before to hit a player.

Nothing new. I remember banshee balls doing wacky things back at launch. I still hate how they hit you even though they seem to be 10 feet in front of you.

Asari dodge can make them a joke though.

I think you can shoot them now to get rid of them.

I've had them not even appear recently. They make the hand wave, a white ball appears in front of them, then nothing else, and you suddenly just lose shields.

Getting chased by rockets or banshee snowballs is ridiculous. They need to figure out away to make them miss beyond cover or dodges. I think the fact that you cant dodge a missile is ridiculous and the fact that the races without dodge get totally screwed with regard to banshee snowballs.

Sure...if your back isn't toward it. See, I figured two corners and I'm safe. Never used to do wonky stuff like that but not any more. The pathing on these and rockets is crap now. It's not that I can't handle any of the things they throw at me but this is just poor AI that sucks the life out of the game at times. Literally.

I had a banshee send off two snowballs 1 second apart... that hurt

I have no issue with the Banshee's warp. It works similar to the player warp only slower and can track you to a farther distance; that's fine with me because it's a Banshee's warp. That sh*t needs to be able to some crazy **** you know.

Now the Bastard Trooper should not be able to fire anymore than 1 rocket in the span of about 1 - 2 second; the machinegun rocket shot is truly vexing. Also, I don't understand how a rocket that is supposed to go in a straight line can curve around corners. Do the Bastard Troopers use Guided rockets? o.0

Are you sure it wasn't a twin invisible sister? Have noticed the invis-i-banshees a lot lately. Then again it wouldn't surprise me to see one fire them off like a scion cannon.

Not just a banshee. Atlas, rocket trooper have that magic follow-you-everywhere missile too. But you can shoot the warp ball to disable it.

You can shoot the Bastard Trooper's rockets as well. I've done it myself by mistake a few times. That's assuming you can react quick enough to do so...

I'm pretty sure that only happens on Dagger in one location. And I also think they fixed it. I haven't had it happen in a couple weeks now. It used to do it every time.

Yes, I do it on a regular basis, however I still take some dot damage. But nothing compared to taking it in the face.

Now what really bugs me is how the sync-kills still seem to be very overpowered at times, you have no idea what it meant to infiltrators, I mean it´s not like you shouldn´t be seen when turned invisible or anything.... Yeah, that power is so awesome especially as an escape tool that it almost saves you, almost.

Except I was playing on White, and technically it wasn't a wall it was the giant box to the right of the LZ.

Dodging missles from rocket troopers has gotten a lot easier since a month ago. They also do not track nearly as well. The only issue is if you are not host and you do not have a great connection to host.

Also Salarians are quick and adapt at dodging missles, and best thing to do if you see a banshee throw warp at you is to grab cover. 9/10 it will hit the cover and not you.

For races without dodge, try an Adrenaline Mod II or better, as it drasically improves your kits lateral movement. ADmod III on Destroyer with Devestator mode activated can easily maneuver around a charging brute or give you enough time to get into cover.

What I hate are when Banshees warp through walls and intantly initiate the sync-kill. One second you think you are safe in cover, behind the tall wall, the next second you find yourself being lifted with a hand through your gut, staring into that ever-so-beautiful face of death.
