Yes, and that awesomeness is called "Mass Effect" and "Mass Effect 2".even 5-10 mediocre minutes at the very end cannot compete with hours and hours of awesomeness beforehand.
@OP Lucky you.
And I've heared that people who never read Tolkien admire LotR games and movie and think that Gandalf was good at melee combat using his staff... so, yeah - ignorance is bliss.

well you certainly learned a great lesson, NEVER pay attention to fan feedback, because most of them tend to be full of ****, ungrateful pyjaks with entitlement issues who think the world revolves around them, as you can easily tell by simply skimming through the first couple pages of threads right here.
Mass Effect 3 is definitely a helluva game, and even 5-10 mediocre minutes at the very end cannot compete with hours and hours of awesomeness beforehand.
Yeah it's not like we paid for all three games and the DLC.

Post-EC I kind of like them. They still have flaws, but I don't see them as being any more flawed than the rest of the series.
My biggest concern with the endings is now is whether or not Bioware is going to end up forcing Synthesis in Mass Effect 4.

p much this
it's not the best ending, but it's the ending the series deserved
the only problem was that it was overhyped.

I think it'll most likely be a Pre-Shepard game OR a game that takes place during Shepard's story with different characters. If it turns out to be a post-Shepard game, I think they'll most likely go with the red ending (trying to make this as least spoilery as possible).
Just my opinion though.

It truly is, its like a newcomer to a franchise vs the fan from the beginning. The newcomer will most likely enjoy the game more because they dont know about features that were in past games or other things that the dedicated fans missed.

Nobody could answer me so far:

And here
http://social.biowar.../index/12776807
It's like:
"Starkid: I created the Sith to bring balance to the force
Now Luke, I give you the opportunity to either:
- Control the Emperor
- Transform everybody into Darth Vader
- Kill the Siths because balance is not needed anymore"
Am I the only one who doesn't understand such logic?
I wish an Official Bioware writer could take the time to visit here and actually explain the ending to us...

I thinks it's clear your not getting the fact the catalyst has no control of what the crucible does. He just tells you what it does, not control it.SmellyMetal wrote...
Awesome:! Since you loved it maybe you could take the time to explain the end to us, and the point of the whole series?

Personally, I loved ME1 and enjoyed the hell out of ME2, but ME3 just lacked so much of the substance that pulled me into the series... I think that's the difference. Expectation. That and experience.

I remember, not so long ago, myself and many others here were mad as hell after ME2 was released:
- "simplified combat"
- "this is an action game, not rpg"
- "the main quest takes like 10 hours"
- "where are the ME1 LIs"
- "wth why are collectors building a human reaper by themselves"
But now, I love ME2. It just took time for expectations to fade away, plus some really good DLC. I just finished my 3rd playthrough of ME3 tonight, and I think I'm slowing warming up to it. Still a flawed game, but I like it a lot more now. Looking forward to Omega.

lolwut? A space opera many regard as one of the best of all time deserved to end on a sour brown note?

Catalyst really had no choice but to cooperate with Shepard. The best it could do was try and push Shepard towards Synthesis.

Where/when did I say the opposite? I'm just asking her a question, please - step aside, let me talk
I believe people have the right to talk together...if the point of these forums is someone saying "I love the game" and others' replies limited to "AWESOME" then it doesn't make sense-
I would have loved to enjoy the game myself, I'm looking for answers - nobody could give a clear answer to my questions since release. I'm asking people who liked the game, PLEASE - just a simple and short explanation for the Starkid, the Crucible, why is there such a device that can provide you these 3 choices, why does Shepard see the Starkid in dreams etc.

NO. I think it's clear the whole ending is bull****
(Only my 2 cents of course...I'd live for someone to explain me everything...)

I agree OP. Just ignore the haters. Nothing but a very loud minority.
You have to be a customer to access this topic. If you didn't purchase Mass Effect 3, you can't voice an opinion here because you don't have the code needed to register the game and access its forums. So in the end, all of us gave our money to Bioware and supported the game...and played it TILL THE VERY END.
Now,as with every movie, some people liked the end, some did not. But I wouldn't call "haters" and mock people who did not like the endings - that's a very rude thing to do - we have to respect others' opinions, not call them "haters" for not finding the end of the trilogy up to Bioware standards. They supported the game by buying it, and it's a piece of art afterall. Art is subjective (somehow, but's that's for another discussion...).
What if I called people "sheep" for enjoying the endings? Would be just as rude - and not tolerated.
