I agree OP. Just ignore the haters. Nothing but a very loud minority.
You have to be a customer to access this topic. If you didn't purchase Mass Effect 3, you can't voice an opinion here because you don't have the code needed to register the game and access its forums. So in the end, all of us gave our money to Bioware and supported the game...and played it TILL THE VERY END.
Now,as with every movie, some people liked the end, some did not. But I wouldn't call "haters" and mock people who did not like the endings - that's a very rude thing to do - we have to respect others' opinions, not call them "haters" for not finding the end of the trilogy up to Bioware standards. They supported the game by buying it, and it's a piece of art afterall. Art is subjective (somehow, but's that's for another discussion...).
What if I called people "sheep" for enjoying the endings? Would be just as rude - and not tolerated.
I agree with this. Obviously, everybody in these forums cares about the Mass Effect universe - otherwise, why would they be posting in the Mass Effect forums? It's one thing to care about or enjoy a game - it's quite another to care enough to go to the forums and actually discuss it. That's why we're here - to discuss the epic and amazing Mass Effect series. Regardless of how people felt about the ending, it's clear they still care and deeply about the series. Otherwise, why would they be coming on here day after day? If you don't care anymore about the series, if you're truly apathetic - then you just move on. Nobody here has. I don't think people who enjoy the ending are "sheep" and I don't think the people who disliked the ending are "haters". I think they each have something valuable to contribute to the discussion. Whether they choose to is another matter altogether.

But, hopefully, while I realize this is the internet, hopefully nobody will mock somebody or dismiss somebody because of their opinion. I've had some really good discussions on the forums and I hope more of them will occur in the future - if people can be respectful and friendly! Why not?
