There certainly should be some little less effeminate "robes" available.
Huh? Robes were effeminate?

OP, you're joined a noble cause full of noble people. You need to know you are not alone. With 136 members, "You can call me Suspenders cuz I support mage pants" is scientifically proven to be the best looking group on the BSN in many people's opinion.
In this thread, one of the venerable threads of this very forum, page upon endless page (five of them) were devoted this very discussion. I encourage you to review that discussion and take hope. In that thread is a post by The Mary Kirby, who is widely recognized by David Gaider as David Gaider's favorite and who possess the power of flight.
Will DA3 have a single get up as peerlessly kickass the the mage's Champion garb? We can't know. But we can hope. Join us.

I want to wear summer shorts because my mage has schmexy legs.
As Pants Marshal, I have written you a special dispensation. This is a very serious post, because this is a very serious issue.

I can never play as a mage in robes and always played arcane warriors in Origins so my mage warden could have legs (among many reasons to play Arcane Warrior).

How about we just all agree that mages should be allowed to wear trousers and leave it at that?

Your goal oriented approach to discussion clashes with my process oriented approach.
Meaning, "No."
