So it's been a while since I played on my Origin account and I tried to reinstall the game only to have Origin keep stopping to tell me I don't have enough space to download it, even though I tried on 3 drives and each has plenty of space.  One has over a TB free so I'm good on space.

So I pull out backup of the game I made and try to just copy the files into place and install from there, get the files into the right spot and try again this time it shows 100% complete but once I start to install the game it stops to tell me again it can't finish the action due to lack of space. Pull out another Origin game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, try to install from the disk, same issues. not enough space on a drive that has over a TB free and other drives that also have the space free get the same error

Anyone have this issue?

um sounds like origin is trying ot install to your ssd

try uninstalling origin then install it to the terabyte drive, it should then install all origin based stuff to the same drive, allowign it to auto install into your c? drive will cause it to set it to install everythign to the same drive

Origin is already on my TB Drive and by default tries to download everything there. Only when that stopped working did I try the other drives too but with no success. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Tried many things to fix this issue with EA support and we stumbled on the fix. The thing that ultimately resolved the issue was clearing my temp folder. Why that made my download and install work I have no idea and the agent wasn't sure why it worked either, haha it was just on her checklist of things to try, but it did. I just figured I would post what worked for me in case anyone else has the same issue I was having.
