What gives the most dps, Piercer Mod + Damage Barrel or the High Velocity Barrel?
Also, do the "Ignores #% of targets armor" go above 100%? (I.e. Piercer mod + HVB)

Damage Barrel + Piercing mod on everything.
100% armor piercing or whatever is the max you can get obviously.
High Velocity Barrel AR mod is 100% useless. It adds 50 more weight and you cannot mod the 25% damage onto it nor does it give 25% damage like the shotgun or sniper HVB. It only gives 25% armor penetration over the normal piercing mod, you can cap that out by using warp or having a ammo consumable or something.
Yes you can use both high velocity barrel + piercing but normal barrel + piercing is overall the best choice on AR.

Ah. Thank you for clearing that up. Makes it pretty useless then, unless you go AP + Ext. Magazine anyway. :I
