In Mass Effect we have Paragon/Renegade Interrupt to solve the situation. It good idea. but I think sometime good or bad it doesn't matter and Love/hate will rake the role.
In ME ,some paraogon interrupt is about Romance and I don't think that shouldn't count as paragon or renegade. It's should be romance interrupt
I don't think Romance interrupt is just kiss/hug or something like that. I think it can play in flirt scene / LI's quest/situation and in big event that allow PC to talk or act. other interaction to LI (or someone who cause problem to LI) to solve the problem.
Any opinion ?

...Can't we just have that option in normal wheel dialogue convos? I don't want Mass Effect bleeding into Dragon Age too much. They are seperate games and universes, I don't want QTE.

I do like the idea of interrupting cutscenes, but unless you meta game, there's usually that annoying bit where an interrupt will make Shepard do something that can go against your character concept... which can be very troublesome! All the reloads...
I remember that Sylvius the Mad once suggested that we could handle the interruptions by forcing the cutscene to pause and then give us a small list of actions our character can do. I like this idea a lot, but some people argue that having to pause takes the charm from the interrupts, and I suppose it's a sensible argument.

I have mixed feelings about dialogue interrupts. I keep feeling like I HAVE to take them cuz why else would they be there but at the same time I feel like I'm missing some dialogue. xp

I would love a "shut up" kiss interruption.

Saw thread title and though this was going to be about ****-blocking NPCs/squaddies. I am disappoint!
P.S. Still a good idea though, you have my vote.

As Dhiro said, it can be a problem if you don't know what it really means; I remember in ME3 with the Renegade Interupt while doing that Hanar diplomat mission and I clicked it. Instead of Shepard killing the Hanar- which I assumed she would- she instead killed the guy attacking the Salarian and doomed the Hanar planet. ******.

Quick time events in any form are pretty much the worst idea gaming has ever had and need to hurry up and shrivel into oblivion.

Liara: How do I look in this dress?
Shepard: ((Romance interrupt) Pulls off dress, sets dress on fire, then pisses out fire)
Liara:....
Shepard: Well, you shouldn't have asked me my opinion if you didn't want that to happen.
I support this grand idea.
