Yeah, you heard me.. I am working on my next big project, I am almost done, but I am experimenting with some emitters, and they are not wanting to work. Infact, they spawn onto the weapon properly, but as soon as I move (whether in toolset or in-game) the emitters are for some reason left behind.. The little lights I put onto said weapon, refuse to move with me or said weapon. Like so:

Does anyone happen to know why this is happening? I've worked plenty with emitters before, and this has never happened to me, so I am kind of stumped. :blink: Any help would be appreciated!

<stuck...>

Would you mind posting the emitter settings?
The first thing that comes to mind is, is the emitter doing a single, persistent particle for the lights? Once the particle is spawned, it would no longer follow the emitter...

If it still winds up bogging you down after playing with inherit, you can always grab a copy of something like vfx_cyneyes.mdl with NWN Explorer Reborn to use as a template.  That's one of the "glowing eyes" models.  In there, each eye is represented by two emitters, an outer (L_eye01) and an inner (L_eye).  You can get by with just the outer, though it's not as intense in the center of the emitter as with both.  Anyway, select what you want, delete the rest of the scene, make a dummy node and attach your emitter(s) to it, save in Max, load up your working scene and merge and modify to your heart's content.

Oh.. :pinched: It's working now with inherit on, hehe.. Well, I don't know why they didn't work, I pulled the emitters from an object that already worked, but they do now! So, thanks for the help you guys! :)
